Micralite Toro - All The Benefits Of A Stroller And A Buggy!
I have just bought a 2nd hand Micralite Toro and I cannot rate it highly enough. It combines all the best features of a stroller and a buggy into one pushchair. It folds up small (admittedly not as small as an umbrella stroller but easily fits in the boot) and stands up when folded so it takes up very little floor space when stored. It's really easy to unfold and the recline mechanism is smooth and seamless.
We needed something with air-filled tyres for our bumpy driveway and the Toro's are nice and big to ensure a smooth ride even on rough terrain. I love the fact that the back wheels are close together. It makes getting through narrow doorways so much easier than it used to be with my 3-wheeler, even though the overall width is the same. They are also great for going up and down kerbs and stairs. This, combined with the fact it is so easy to steer, makes for great manouevreability only rivalled in my experience by the Quinny Zapp. The brake is also large and easy to operate.
There are 3 recline positions - upright, medium and flat. The upright is brilliant as my daughter can see everything that's going on easily and the flat is perfect for when she needs to nap. The storage basket underneath is a little tricky to access, but I've not come across one that isn't. It's plenty spacious enough. The harness is simple and easy to fasten and undo so I can get my daughter in and out in seconds. The seat depth is also much narrower than any others I've come across which means that she doesn't slump in it like she has done in others and looks very well supported and comfortable.
I'm pleased to see that you can easily by replacement parts for the whole pushchair so if anything goes wrong we won't have to chuck the whole thing in the tip - a refreshing change in this day and age.
We don't have the carrycot or car seat adapters yet as we didn't get this until my daughter was 1, but we certainly intend to buy them next time around to turn this into a fully functional travel system.
We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Micralite Toro. It's the only travel system you'll ever need and my only regret is that we didn't come across it before my daughter was born.

Micralite Superlight
I got my Micralite Superlight when my son was 6 months and he loved it straight away. He is now nearly 2 yrs and still fits very comfortably into it. I have the cocoon type snug for winter which he absolutely loves. And I must say gets lots of good comments.
The only downside is the basket, which is small and very hard to get to, especially with the strap down the middle.
Also the turning bars to tighten and loosen the handle bars have got pretty stiff and now don't go down fully and so stick up. Not the best when you are trying to get it in and out of the car boot.
All in all it was a great buy and i'm so pleased I chose it. It manoeuvres so easily, Lenny loves it, its warm for the winter, the rain cover fits neatly rather than others which look bulky, and is also great off road.
A good all rounder.

The Micralite Fastfold Is Light And Easy To Fold W
The Micralite Fastfold is Light and easy to fold with one hand. Excellent travel system with everything you need. Fits easily in any car boot as it is much narrower when folded. And now there is even a board to go on it. I have back problems and this was the lightest stroller to lift on to the boot of my little toyota yaris. It has been everywhere with us, even to Brazil and still looks new. I now have a second child and and found it hard to use a twin buggy as it is heavy, hard to manouver and my daughter walks most of the time.I tried to attach a buggy board to it but none fitted it was the downside of it for me but now kiddycare is selling a micralite board with extension handles so I can go back to using my micralite as my daughter can ride on the board when she gets tired.

I've Had My Micralite Pushchair For Nearly 4 Years
I've had my micralite pushchair for nearly 4 years now - used by both my sons constantly and has never let me down (still looks good too). Best point is that it is so easy and light to steer that you do it one handed. It still feels solid and folds really small (even stands up when folded). Large back wheels make mince meat of kerbs and rough terrain and accessories such as travel system, rainwear and sunshade are good quality. Took me a little while to grasp the knack of folding it one handed and loading and unloading basket (sometimes easier to undo poppers). Only improvements I could suggest is better/more reclining positions (two positions only) and better weighted as tips very easily if you hang anything from the handle (which I know you shouldn't but we all do!). Comparing against other pushchairs and the price, I've never been able to find one I'd replace it with.

We've Loved Our Micralite. My Son Is Now 23 Months
We've loved our Micralite. My son is now 23 months and we've never had anything different. It is light, easy to use and pack up. We were however disappointed to encounter the problem many others have listed below - the front wheel completely snapped off when I caught it on the curb. This has broken the frame, so we have to replace the whole pushchair. I do understand the problem with walking behind it to - I sometimes felt like I needed to walk to the side of it pushing with one hand! Having said all that, I much prefer it to the other bulky pushchairs my friends had. A lot easier to negotiate streets and keep in my flat without taking too much room. Don't bother getting the pram top - just use the car seat.

We Were Advised Not To Buy The Carry Cot, As It Wo
We were advised not to buy the carry cot, as it would not see much use. Instead, we used our car seat and haven't missed the carry cot at all. Our son is 4 months old and we've now started using the fabric seat - they recommend 6 months, but he's a big lad!Maybe they've revised the front wheels, because we've had none of the problems mentioned in other reviews. My only gripe is that the handle could be higher and/or raked back at more of an angle.

I've Loved The Micralite Pushchair, Even When The
I've loved the Micralite Pushchair, even when the front wheel broke down. Micralite and John Lewis were extremely helpful at getting a set of wheels when one broke down. I found it the best pram to move around, with the back pneumatic wheels and the one piece handle. The only problem is that it's a bit expensive for what it is, and that the design could be improved for the transition to be easier from carrycot to sitting up, which is not suitable until 6 months.Still, we lost our Micralite, and I miss it!
