Awful, Hate It, Dont Buy

I got the quinny zapp Xtra for my then 19 month old daughter 4 months ago, i hate this buggy, its seat unit is so small my daughter has now outgrown it already, it is so low it gives me back ache and im not that tall 5'5, it is so stiff to fold down i have to kick it to shut, i cant hang anything on the handle or i end up kneeing it while i walk, the basket is basically non existent i keep the rain over in it but that's all i can get in it, the rain cover itself doesn't fit properly as it is for the original zapp and they never made a new one for the Xtra, the brake comes on by itself if u go over a stone or even a pile of leaf's on the floor. I have had a few buggies in the past as i have a bit of am addiction but i can honestly say i have never hated a buggie like i do this one, complete waste of money and now have to go and spend more on one my daughter can actually fit in. DO NOT BUY! ! ! !

I'd Never Reccomend

I bought the quinny zapp for my little girl as its a nice looking, small, lightweight stroller, howvever when I used it my views changed. My little girl is 15 months old and adverage size, & she looked to big for it when she sat inside, when I tried to get her in the pushchair was tipping backwords, and was not stable at all! When I was in town she was sqeeling to get out as she was so un-comfy, and then she fell asleep in it and because it doent even recline a tiny bit she was all slumped & sliding down the pushchair with the straps digging into her neck. I decided this pushchair was unsuitable so I got rid of it and bought a petite star zia which looks the same, but reclines all the way to lye down posision, the seat is much wider and I love it!!! So I would not reccoment anyone to buy this Quinny zapp!!!!!!

The Manoverability Is Good And It Folds Down Well

The manoverability is good and it folds down well but as with our quinny speedi the strap adjustment is totaly useless unless you feed your baby junkfood every day and it is seriously overweight dont buy this. our little fellah was constantly slipping out of it and needing lifted back into place, we tryed using numerous cussions to wedge him in but to no avail. if it wasnt for the size it folded to it would be a total waste of time. 2 stars

We Bought The Quinny Zapp Xtra Because We Wanted A

We bought the Quinny Zapp Xtra because we wanted a lightweight, collapsable stroller for flights, but still prioritised the option of a parentfacing seat what could be reclined for our baby's naps. But in parentfacing position the seat can not be set fully upright and our baby is not comfortable lying down when awake. We ordered the stroller online, Mothercare did not have it in store, and the sales person in the store clearly hadn't seen it irl. She did not inform us that the seat is not collapsable at all, which makes it very awkward for flights. She said the Zapp Xtra had better suspension than the Zapp, but the chassis are exactly the same for both. The brake often only locks one or the other of the wheels, not both. The wheels made of plastic ar very noisy and the stroller does not go in a straight line forward even with the front wheels locked. I have to hold the handles very tight to adjust the direction in which the stroller is going which in fact makes my wrists hurt! I'd say it's a stroller for indoor use, like shopping centres, but not even for walking from the car park to the entrance, because the baby bounces uncomfortably in the seat. We even bought an accessory Zapp seat because we weren't happy with the Zapp Xtra. On the Zapp the harness isn'n height adjustable and therefore does not fit our 10 month old baby. The canopy of the Zapp is also smaller than on the Zapp Xtra and does not give adequate shade. All in all, both the Quinny Zapp and te Quinny Zapp Xtra are huge disappointments and I wish we had not bought them.

I Was Going To Buy A Quinny Zapp Stroller For &pou

I was going to buy a Quinny Zapp Stroller for £230 from the Glasgow Pram Centre but decided to have a shop about first and I am pleased I did. I got one for almost £100 less online here http://pushchairsandcarseats.blogspot.com/2011/02/quinny-zapp-stroller-rebel-red-was.html.

I love the Quinny Zapp Stroller, I got the Rebel Red one.

I Bought This Pram As I Wanted Something Compact &

I bought this pram as i wanted something compact & light now my daughter is getting to big for her quinny buzz. I bought the zapp as i love my buzz & thought it would be a good trade off. Well its lovely to push & it looks great however when my child wanted a nap it was awfull. no recline ment her neck & her were bent over & she looked very uncomfortable. I would not reccomend this pram if your child has a tendancy to fall asleep while out & about.

It folds down really small which is fantastic, its not all that light tho.

The Good Things About This Quinny Zapp Buggy Is Th

The good things about this Quinny Zapp buggy is that it folds really small and very light, lovely to push it takes the corners beautifully and looks smart too. I wouldnt say its any good for everyday use.

Bad points are that there is NO storage space what so ever and are not able to hang anything on the handles, even says on the box you cant put anything on there. Bit of a pain to fold up, very tricky to get the hang of. Does not lay down or recline at all so not very comfortable when little ones are sleeping head lulls about a bit. Would not of paid £140 for it if i had of known all this.

The Quinny Zapp Is An Excellent Pushchair, I Never

The Quinny Zapp is an excellent pushchair, I never thought I would say this about the Zapp but it is.

Firstly it folds small enough to fit into an easy to carry bag, and its not really difficult to fold it either.

Secondly it is fantastic to push, very light and turns very easily, even using one hand!

Obviously the Zapp does not have any reclining positions but i found this not to be a problem, I purchased the Zapp when my little boy turn 12 months old and he fit the pushchair perfectly and when he fell asleep in the Zapp the two padded harnes strap covers held his head in place and he still slept very comfortablely, so no reclining positions isnt really a bad point.

The Zapp doesn't come with a basket you have to buy that separately but I bought a pram shopping net from my local baby store which suited me fine.

I have read other reviews on the Quinny Zapp and some of then say they have had problems with the Zapp easily tipping up with or without baby in, I haven't had this problem with my Zapp.

I would definately recommend the Quinny Zapp for anyone with babies 9 months plus.

I Love That The Quinny Zapp Has Gorgeous Colours,

I love that the Quinny Zapp has gorgeous colours, is very attractive and different looking, is sturdy (aluminium frame), has nice padded long straps, is easy to remove and clean covers, is very compact when folded, (although it IS a two hand fold and it takes some getting used to),comes with a raincover and a storage bag for easy travelling (we have even taken it on board the cabin for some trips, it fits in most overhead compartments), its VERY easy to manouver and although it has small plastic wheels it is very easy to push (much easier than the mclaren triumph) and the ride is smoother than with the mclaren.

I also really like the way the handles are placed, I dont find the mclaren triumph's handles comfortable, however, the zapp's are just perfect!

What I dont like about the Zapp is that it doesnt recline, and yes, I know it is stated, however the stroller could be almost perfect if it reclined!! The hood is very small and has lots of viewing windows, I love the viewing windows, but you can forget about sun protection!, and finally the fold, I love it when folded because its so small and can fit almost anywhere, however you do have to push several buttons and use both hands (someone who is not familiar with the buggy could spend hours figuring out what to do) and unless you place it inside its bag it can open since it has nothing to secure it and no carrying strap....

However, as a second/lightweight/keep in the car/ use in the airport/ etc.. buggy it is a GREAT stroller...

Also, we used it the first few months with the Maxi Cosi carseat, as it comes with the adaptors, and it was a dream to push :)
