I Have Been Collecting Transformers On And Off Eve

I have been collecting Transformers on and off ever since I was given one of the first toys nearly 25 years ago, I guess I haven't grown up. I got my Cybertron Optimus Prime from www.tfzone.co.uk more than a year back now for £39.99.The Optimus figures from the previous series ( Armada and Energon ) were a bit of a let down, they looked good but had some big flaws. Hasbro worked wonders on this new figure with lots of great detail and features. There are 4 modes but one is a bit of a stretch of the imagination. The first is the truck, Optimus has generally been realised as a red truck of some sort, this is no different although its like no truck I have ever seen. Similar to a firetruck with a large cannon in place of a ladder. The second mode is a jet, basically the truck with some wings folded out. The remaining two modes are robot modes. The first is small and is a the bare bones Optimus Prime, he has a hand held weapon and that is it. This is made up purely from the cab of the truck, the trailer section can be used as a sort of base. The last mode is the super robot mode, the smaller robot mode combines with the truck trailer to make a slightly larger robot with wings and two huge cannons slung under each arm.To collect or to play with this has to be one of the best Optimus Prime figures for years and with Cybertron toys on sale in many places it would be a good time to get one for half price or less.

I Bought The Transformers Optimus Prime Leader For

I bought the Transformers Optimus Prime Leader for my 8 year old son for Christmas, and he loves it so much he has hardly put it down. Optimus Prime has been on the market for many years. My eldest son, now nearly 25, always wanted him as a child but at the time money was too tight, as they were bigger and comparatively more expensive back then. Now that they are smaller and less expensive, they are in most people's price range as a Christmas gift for a child. I paid £29.99 in Argos. Optimus Prime is the leader of the Transformers; toys that can be transformed from robots into vehicles of many sorts, and even animals. Optimus Prime transforms into what looks like an articulated lorry with a rocket launcher. Various bits can be added or removed to make him look different, and it has a secret key. Don't ask me what the secret key is for, as it is a secret, but any child who has one may tell you!

Great toy, great play value, and great all around value.
