My Sister-in-law Bought The Leapfrog Learn & Groov

My sister-in-law bought the Leapfrog Learn & Groove Activity Station for my twins for Christmas. I thought it was a bit expensive for them, but I didn't argue, and now I am so glad I didn't. My children love this activity station. They go in it at least once every day, and they have so much fun.

We got ours from the Early Learning Centre and it cost around £80, which is quite expensive, but it is definitely worth every penny. I owe my sister-in-law big style for buying the babies this.

---Assembly---

My sister in law and her husband fixed this together and it took them around ten minutes. It comes with easy to follow instructions.

The station requires three AA batteries to function. I changed the batteries in mid-March for the first time, which I think is very good to say it has been used at least twice every day since Christmas!

There are three height potions as your child grows, and the height is very easy to adjust.

---What it does---

Your child sits in the activity station like sitting in a baby walker. The base is shaped so it will rock, or there are 3 little feet so it will stand still.

- JUKEBOX. The jukebox function is to switch modes from alphabet/numbers to music. You do this by turning the page. As you turn the page the station plays a little tune.

- DJ DISC. There is a needle, and if baby pulls it towards them the disc spins and plays a tune, depending on which mode it is on depends what tune is played. If it's on alphabet/numerical mode an 'ABC' song is played. On the music mode there are three different tunes.

- Keys. There are five coloured keys numbered one to five which light up when pressed.

one = red, two = orange, three = yellow, four = green, five = purple.

If on the numerical mode, each key says the number it is when pressed, and if pressed again it says which colour it is.

If pressed when on the music mode it says as follows:

one = jazz, two - cha cha, three = tango, four = swing, five = salsa. Each key also plays a tune when pressed.

- MICROPHONE. The microphone is blue and yellow. When it is on the numerical mode it says 'sing it baby' when pulled towards the baby, and on the music mode it says 'ba-ba-doo-waa'.

- DISCO BALL. when baby goes past the disco ball it spins. If pressed it plays a tune. Depending on which mode it's on depends which tune it plays. On numerical mode, when you press it it says: first time = HIGH, second time = LOW, third time =UP, fourth time = DOWN. On the music mode it plays three different tunes.

Under the number five key there is a switch which you can choose to have the music on high or low or turn the station off. The activity station is suitable from 4 months.

Overall, I would recommend this station to anyone. It keeps your babies attention while you are doing jobs, but always keep your baby where you can see them while playing.
