The Robo-reptile Is An Amazing Piece Of Technology
The Robo-Reptile is an amazing piece of technology, My 8 year old son desperately wanted one so Santa obliged. They have come down a fair bit in price, less than £50 in Comets just before Christmas, I think Santa got this one there!
It takes a total of nine AA batteries so a charger and rechargeable batteries is an essential extra to buy with this. The Reptile takes six batteries and the remote control takes three.
When he switched it on we were in hysterics at the reptiles antics! Try putting on his hood, he just keeps shaking it off! He runs, bites, walks backwards and chomps 'food'. He shakes his head and tail and makes some really funny sounds!
My son didn't play with it very much after the initial excitement wore off. But I am sure he will go back to it again.

Roboreptile Is Another Great Addition To The Robo-
Roboreptile is another great addition to the Robo-family. Owners of the Roboraptor will no doubt love the Roboreptile, which is basically an upgraded version of last years popular dinosaur. The reptile is quite similar to raptor which makes me wonder if upgrading to the reptile would really be worth the £90 extra it costs to do this. To be honest it is a lot of money for what isn't a vastly superior product. Better? Yes. But £90 better? I'm not so sure.
The Roboreptile is a cracking gadget though of that there is no question. What I really like about this one is that it is pretty nippy when in high speed mode and also jumps which is a belting feature. Like the previous incarnation it has motion sensor detectors and can craftily avoid bumping into foreign objects. With three moods and five different modes it is a super gadget - especially if you are new to robotic type gadgets. However I must re-iterate that if you already have a Roboraptor then you may not be blown away by his baby brother.
Hi boycott, my son wants the Roboreptile or Roboraptor for Christmas. You obviously know all about both of them, so please could you advise me which one is best to buy for an eight year old? I don't know anyone else to ask, so please reply soon!!!
Thanks.
