We used their (free) wedding websites to create an information hub for guests & family then set up our gift list with them as well. We combined honeymoon wishes with a few things for our home and garden.

As items were purchased from our list the money went directly into our bank account so that we weren't having to worry about transporting boxed items back home from our Greek wedding.

Friends & family loved the on-line guest book and we've now printed out all of their messages to go into our wedding album. All up, a low-cost and easy to use option if you're looking for a money/cash gift list. We'd happily recommend 'Just The Thing' to others; one of our grooms' men has already set up his own website & gift list with them as well!

What we'd do differently: Make sure website pages were ready to view as soon as 'save the date' cards went out.

A very easy way to ask for money instead of traditional gifts for our wedding. We controlled everything and had items ranging from £2.50 beers at the airport through to £250 for a piece of art (to commemorate the big day). Guests purchased 'items' and the money went direct into our account.

There are two payment options, allowing 'guests to cover costs' meant it didn't cost us a penny which has got to be good value. Very happy with the end result and lots of compliments in our on-line guest book too so guests were happy too.

Great website themes, quick loading times. All our guests used the site to contribute towards our honeymoon paying with credit cards and/or debit cards - quick transactions and lots of compliments. Guests contributed £3,500 towards our honeymoon in the Maldives which was exactly what we wanted having already moved in together two years ago. Would happily recommend to other couples.

A great way to ask for money instead of traditional gifts. Our civil ceremony was abroad so there was no way we could carry boxed gifts home again - instead, guests contributed towards our new kitchen and bought everything from cutlery to cupboard doors! Since the honeymoon we've had lots of people over for dinner to see our 'gifts' in action - a brand new shiny kitchen!

Following a recommendation, we gave this website a go for our Civil Union and were very pleased with the results. One of the few wedding website services that offers plenty of variety for same-sex couples.

Our wedding took place in Spain, summer 2010. Many friends and family members traveled from all over UK and Europe to attend. Brilliant website! Highly recommended - they helped us list our honeymoon so our wedding guests could send us on an unforgettable trip to the Maldives as well as including some items for our home and fav charity. Very easy to use interface - there's no downloading of special software or anything. Much better than having multiple gift lists!

We thought they were really great, they offer a low-cost, easy to use online gift list service for weddings. Pretty much what it says on the box - "The polite way to ask for cash instead of gifts for your wedding..."
