I got married here in june, had an absolutely wonderful day, everything was organised perfectly from start to finish and many of my guests said it was the best wedding they had been too, thanks for making our day so special.

I got married at Mangapp Manor this year as my husband and I loved the look of the venue. It was apparent from the start that the owner was quite bossy and particular about how a wedding should take place, nether the less we booked. The day ceremony was beautiful and the staff members enables it run like clockwork, the timings and prep of everything is well thought out and people commented on how lovely the wedding looked though this wasn't the case as it came to the evening. The food service was slow and disorganised, staff were rude to some our guests and were panicking due to certain issues with guests on site, which of course had us on edge. Staff members threatened to call the police due to announcements being made on the microphone in the marquee which was not an issue to us at all and did not trigger the noise limiter. Towards the end of the night we both were completely sober and on a bit of a downer due to all the issues with the staff. After the wedding we were told we would not receive our deposit back due to certain guests bringing there own alcohol on site and bar takings not being as high as they expected. We were completely disgusted with the way some of our guests behaved bringing alcohol into the car park etc and agreed that it was fair enough in the end. What really hurt me personally was the comment that was made by the owner regarding the venue just not being setup to deal with 'African' weddings, apparently our wedding was the 2nd 'African' wedding the venue had had problems with and that maybe in future they will just have to say no should another one arise as it was not worth the trouble. Bearing in mind this is not a cheap venue this comment hurt me very much and I burst into tears following this phone call. I had a lovely ceremony that looked beautiful but I would have settled for something less if I had known that the aftermath would have been so horrible. If you don’t mind the compromise then this venue is stunning but just be prepared.

From the minute we saw Mangapps my partner and I knew this was where we had to get married! Such a stunning, beautiful and magical place! Only made complete by the amazing staff! The owners and wedding planner truly go out of their way to make your day as perfect as can be! They helped us with all our crazy ideas and plans, let us have a photo booth, helped with our beach theme, laughed along with us when all our guests wore red noses during the ceremony and also let us do a marryoke video! All our guests said how wonderful our day was and how it was the best wedding ever! This would only have been possible with the attention to detail and the help from all the staff! The wedding planner planned everything to perfection!! My husband and I would love to go back each year purely to visit the amazing venue and also to catch up with the staff! Our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives! If your thinking of getting married at mangapp manor then think no more, book it today and I guarantee you won't be disappointed!!! Every bride should have her day here!

We got married here in 2012. The grounds are amazing so were the staff, so helpful and tended to all our needs and when we mentioned we were looking at bring coaches here they recommended the only coach company that have turned up and dropped the guests at the house not at the bottom of the drive. One the day itself it turned out to be the hottest weekend of the year the drinks on the lawn did run out but they came over as we asked for the bar to remain closed until a set time and we made the decision together to open the bar.

We had some wheel chairs which needed access to the disabled toilets which where located in the house there was never an issue with this either.

They even allowed access to all our guest that arrived in uniform to change in the evening to their mess undress,plus some friends asked if they could go to the room where we were staying to have some pictures taken which at first they said no as a little busy but they found them later and took them to do the pictures.

The Marque looked amazing when we entered and in the evening the lights made it so romantic. The Food was out of this world so we were told we were both nervous and only ate a small amount missing out in the evening too on a wonderful BBQ. The bar was priced just right having worked behind a bar we know what is over priced and what is not and we found them on par to any bar or pub. They even sourced some Pussers rum for us to have a Royal Toast with our past and present service personnel.

It was my Grandad's 89th birthday too that day and they made him very special making sure there was time for us to wish him a very happy birthday and give him his cake.

Our only thing that we were disappointed in was their was not enough hours in that day for us to appreciate it. Every single one of our guests still say how wonderful it all was and we have recommended it to others. Thank you Mangapp Manor for making our day so wonderful and making us feel so special.

My wife and I got married in Summer 2013 and had a truly perfect day. From the moment we chose Mangapp Manor at the end of 2011, the owner and wedding co-ordinator couldn't have been more helpful and pro-active. The setting is simply stunning, while the attention to detail and willingness to make our special day personal to us, set Mangapp Manor apart. Their organisation and regular communications made us feel so confident that everything would go perfectly and this really put our minds at rest when they was so much else to sort out! Their preferred suppliers were also fantastic and while we never felt pressured into using them, the strong relationships they had with them made life so much easier, especially when it can be tough to choose things like photographers and florists based on websites or one-off meetings.

In terms of the day itself, the marquee looked stunning and was exactly what we hoped it would be. The staff were very polite and courteous to our guests and the food delicious. Many of our family and friends have told us what a wonderful time they had and how smoothly the day went and Mangapp Manor deserve a lot of the credit for that.

We were absolutely thrilled with our special day and wholeheartedly recommend Mangapp Manor.

Our daughter got married at Mangapp Manor in August 2013. The entire day could not have gone better. The attention to detail was second to none, and the staff were fantastic.

The ceremony was so incredibly moving, having such a beautiful procession through the gardens up to the gazebo makes for a very unique experience. I will never forget the sun reflecting on the lake during the ceremony, the view was absolutely the most perfect of backdrops.

Having reception drinks on the lawn while the bride and groom had their photographs taken was delightfully relaxed, there were numerous lawn games available as well as plenty of different areas for chatting with pretty surroundings. Canapes were plentiful and drinks were topped up regularly.

The grounds are stunningly beautiful both during the day and by night (so many gorgeous areas, the photographs are fabulous!).

The food was delicious, we have had so many of our guests tell us it was the best wedding breakfast they have ever had!

We could go on and on... simply put, if you want to have a blissful wedding day in an exceptionally beautiful setting with knowledgeable, helpful, friendly staff look no further than Mangapp Manor, you are in extremely safe hands.

My best friend had her wedding at Mangapp September 2013, and I was bridesmaid! From the moment we got to the venue we got an amazing and very professional, friendly service, the staff were extremely helpful and absolutely lovely!

The grounds were stunning and at all times all guests were looked after perfectly!

I would like to recommend this venue and staff to everyone! From the moment I arrived at Mangapp as the Mother of the bride last September 2013, I was treated like royalty. I thought the staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. I was shown to a beautiful room with wonderful facilities. Nothing was too much trouble. My daughter found everything to be just as she had requested and dreamt of. The manor, marquee and grounds felt like they had been made for us! The staff were even taking time all through the day to keep asking if everyone and everything were and ok. The meal was fabulous. Breakfast the next morning was exquisitely presented and yummy!! We were married here in august of 2013 and it was the best day of our lives and both the venue and the staff at the venue made that possible. The setting is beautiful, with the gardens, manor house and lake. The owners and wedding planners made the planning personal and stress-free. We followed many of their recommendations for photography, flowers and DJ's etc. and were very pleased with them. On my wedding morning they calmed my nerves and it turned out wonderfully. Mangapp Manor is a stunningly beautiful venue, with picturesque grounds which put every other wedding venue I have attended to shame. However, the actual venue is nothing compared to the level of service you receive.  

My best friend got married in September 2013, I was an usher who was heavily involved with helping to get everything done the exact way her husband & her wanted. From the moment of the first planning meeting, the owners and planner treat you like the only thing that matters is making the big day perfect in every way! Every question has already been thought of, planned and answered. Every request is competed quickly and flawlessly. Any problem is solved, without fuss, it is simply done. Nothing is ever too much trouble, how they accomplish this, I still to this day have no idea! And all of this is done with a friendly, warm smile! 

The experience of Mangapp Manor is second to none, you will not only leave having had the perfect day, you will leave counting everyone at Mangapp as friends. I can not recommend them highly enough!
