Sir Alfred Hitchcock Hotel

We booked the Hitchcock Hotel for our wedding in March 2013, it's a superb Pub/Restaurant/Hotel which caters for up to 120 people it's a great party venue with bundles of character , having worked in the countries top venues and arranged many top parties, I'm fussy, however from start to finish Sophia and Leo were superb in every way, and the Staff are so pleasant and will help in any way they can. We had a party of 25 on Friday and around 80 people on Saturday. The Consevatory has its own built in sound system and lights of good quality which is a huge bonus if you had to hire this it would set you back around £500, the hot and cold buffet was great and all the guests were so pleased, the steaks they serve are huge and are certainly the best we have had anywhere 5 other guests agreed, (try the T-Bone 500g) Drinks are reasonably priced with Stella being 30p cheaper than the local, the rooms are great all are different and very quirky and so cheap which also includes breakfeast, We used to go to our Local pub where the food is good but from now on we will only eat at The Alfred Hitchcock, superb food, large portions a courteous personal warm welcome everytime.... something that is sometimes sadly missing from other establishments.

The only thing I'm upset with is that we did not find this venue sooner!

If your booking a Wedding a party or function The Alfred Hitchcock comes Highly recommended, it's the complete package but most important is the pricing, who said weddings were expensive? We saved a fortune finding this venue....actually my better half insisted on looking at the Alfred Hitchcock I said it would be too expensive well done Nicci xx
