Rude, Arrogant Insurance Company...
Here we go again...Avoid them and pay your money to a reputable and trustworthy insurance company.
Date 09/02/2018
If you can afford to pay £20 extra per month on top of your monthly premium...BE MY Guest. I just spoke to a lady who charged me another £20 in addition to my £48 monthly premium...apparently the direct failed. I logged into my internet banking and guess what...completely false, there was £202 in the account and the bank confirmed that there was enough money to pay the insurance company. This is the third time I am being dupped £20 additional charges for their own fault and coincidentally in the last 3-4 months of my policy expiring. How they manipulate their systems to get point the blame on you is unreal but avoid at all cost. They are RUDE and ARROGANT

1. My partner was involved in an accident in June which was not her fault. The other driver logged a claim against us and I2D contacted us as usual to clarify the situation. We counterclaimed because it was not our fault. We were informed the claims department was closed as it was a Saturday. We spoke to them a few days later during the week. The case was passed onto the legal team who contacted us about the case and the car was inspected for repairs (Quote was £1000+). My partner was signed off sick, received physio and left her job due to long-term illness. We contacted I2D months later just to be told by claim handler and Team Leader that we never counter-claimed so it was an open claim. Oh, and the other driver has received their payout. The claims dept. were informed by lawyers, not to payout and they still went ahead. The excuse was - to avoid legal action against I2D. We complained about the situation and requested a review of the case including listening to the 2 phone calls, we made to counterclaim the Team Leader contacted us in November declining to proceed with the complaint. He listened to only ONE phone call and claimed they could not find the second phone call in the system so they won't agree that we counter-claimed. We are logging this case with the Financial Ombudsman before heading to court. All they extras sold out when you take out the policy are USELESS as the company does not liaise with the other Departments like their own legal team. We suffered severe financial losses due to the lack of communication between their legal team and the claims team. Complaining won't help because they don't record their calls as mentioned by the automated services. I have gone through a normal and FORMAL complaint, THEY DON'T CARE. They are after your money...YOU WILL BE ALONE WHEN A CLAIM IS LOGGED. They are dodgy and just after your MONEY.
The company inspected the car for repairs, my partner had physio, the car still not repaired (7 months and still waiting), no compensation for the financial losses. With all this stuff going on, they claim that are not at fault and won't care.
2. I was contacted by Insure2Drive in November 2017 because they could not process the direct debit (apparently). I paid the money charge there and then with no issues. I contacted today (17/01/2018) as well and apparently, my direct debit failed this time and they need to take a payment but with a £20 additional charge. I complained about it but the lady said she won't do anything about it because it was my fault.
Response from insurer
We have received your review left online regarding the service your have received during the claim.
I believe I have addressed your complaint(s) over two letters dated 21st November 2017 and 29th November 2017. I attach both of these for reference.
I note in your review you are pursuing the matter further via the Financial Ombudsman Service and I look forward to hearing from them in due course.

They Cancelled My 7 Year Ncb 2 Years Ago After Onl
They cancelled my 7 year NCB 2 years ago after only one claim, put up my premium. Later when I recently changed my European licence to a British one they put up my premium again saying i am classified as a new driver which was a lie and "if i don't pay over the phone NOW they'll cancel my current ncb" which was another lie as they had no right to do so. They later said "Oh we meant this year NCB not last year one" which was another lie.
When i emailed them and said I was not happy with this they did not even respond for weeks and then just refused to return the excessive payment and did not even explain what it was for. I then cancelled my insurance with them and they would not even send me my current NCB. Absolute liars. Be careful.
Rip Off Artists And Digraceful Service
I was insured with this company last year due to the very competitive quote they offered me as a new customer and this year my premiums sky-rocketed by 130% even factoring in my no claims bonus!
When I asked the representative what the possible justification for this staggering increase was all I was told was that "rates increase." When I stated that after having researched the market, increases in rates had gone up by around 25% I was told that the underwriters had made the calculation based on myself specifically.
I pointed out that the only thing that had changed from last year when I obtained such a competitive quote was a no claims bonus I was once again told "rates increase, it's up to our underwriters." When I asked them to provide a legitimate reason for such an enormous increase I was told that they did not have to provide me with one.
The service was appalling- condescending, dismissive and extremely unhelpful.
DO NOT insure with Insure2Drive!! These people reel you in with an initial reasonable quote only to make you pay over double for it the next year to recoup their losses. Disgusting company ethic at the expense of drivers.

They jacked up my renewal price despite a year without claims.
They were rude and unhelpful.
They did not honour my cancellation period and charged me £70 after promising a two week no fee cancellation period.
Never use Insure2Drive.

Avoid- Insure To Drive And Go Girl Insurance Companies
i seriously recommend staying away from these bogus insurance companies. i have been with both and had nothing but problems. switched over to go girl not realising they are the same company and had same problems again. they come under sabre insurance too so stay well clear. They will just cancel your policy and charge you a ridiculous cancelation fee and then say oh well we sent you an email asking for this and that and just feed you a load of lies basically. so thanks for canceling my policy twice without informing me meaning i was driving without insurance for nearly 3 weeks!! idiots.lots of people say its happened to them too. guess im guna have to pay a little more and go with a trusted company, imagine if you had to claim through them! not worth the cheap qoute they offer.

£25 Admin Charge!!
I used the usual compare insurance websites and Insure2drive constantly came out on top as the cheapest for my old banger (if you can call £400+ cheap for my car which is valued at £100!!). I took out the insurance, and was asked for a copy of my licence, back to front and paper copy too (never asked this before). But apart from all that, cheaper then the rest and easy enough to take out and all done via email. My bug bearer is, I changed my address a month after taking out the insurance, and was told its a £25 admin fee every time I call them to change anything.... So remember this if like me you change address now and again or any other problem you may encounter. I didn't know they charged this when taking out the insurance. If like me you change details now and again, check if its free to do this before taking out the insurance (some do it for free). I could now rattle on about "being ripped off and squeezed for more money as I've never claimed so why doesn't the money I paid for the insurance in the first place not cover me for changing details" etc, but its my fault for not checking. I won't go through this company again and don't recommend to anyone who change details now and again. My child will have to wait for new shoes....
