Off Road With Illness For 5 Years-not Impaired Fo

Off road with illness for 5 years-not impaired for driving, just too poor. Paid for year insurance but did not own or have car beyond the year. Phoned for quote with new car 3 months later. Told I owed them £145 for continuing the policy-apparently automatically renewed-Nothing about that in literature. Paid up-the wouldnt quote

Asked Quinn for details of insurer and policy number to check the details of supposed new insurance renewal- Quinn unable-unwilling- to comply. Said they had sent details-kept bugging with demands for statement under Road Traffic Acts that I had lost insurance certificate. Correct statement made per RTA-Could not say certificate was lost as had no evidence that it ever existed and no knowledge of what happened to it if it did. Over and over again-Took specialist legal advice to check my RTA declaration was correct but Quinn kept thereatening

Quinn have had their Solicitors Indemnity insurance work banned and now motor insurance has been taken away.

FSA should shut them down - an other motor insurers should campaign for the same-wholly unreliable

Very angry with the level of customer service, promised call backs that never came, policy increased by £700 without agreement! one handler advised I'd receive money back then received further demand letters! Haven't paid £700 and they've now cancelled my insurance meaning that will be held against me for future policies! Looked on their website today to get the email address to complain and it looks like they've went into some sort of receivership, I wonder why? Wished I'd read these reviews before taking out my policy, an expensive lesson learnt.

Quinn direct insurers hands off Very poor services overall on any claims made particular motor claim. Don't monitor their desk on weekend when an accident occurred.

Would Score Quinn Zero If I Could!!!

False economy....initially the cheapest quote but I now know why. I had to jump through so many hoops to prove my NCB etc - all the time being sent emails and letters saying if I didn't get documents to them within so many days my insurance would cease. This was very stressful, not knowing if I would be insured or not. I felt they were hassling me and making the whole process much more complicated than it should have been. Customer service rubbish, if you could actually get through as there are not appropriate options.

Rip Off!!! Seems Cheapest At First But I've Been Fleeced

Ripped me off big time, my insurance quadrupled and was much much more compared to others when I needed to make changes to my policy. Don't bother you'll end up worse off. Would not go there. Read reviews about these companies that appear to be giving you a good deal thats my advice.

Having received my renewal for car insurance, I was less than happy with the increase they were proposing and decided to place a call into them to discuss further. Having pressed several options on my telephone keypad I then find I am left holding on with some terrible music and nobody even picks up at the other end or telling me where I am in the queue. Such a dreadful customer service. I have emailed them to complain and was paid the usual lip service of "sorry for the inconvenience, we are very busy at the moment on calls" which is not what I want to hear from them. On the strength of the lack of customer care I am not renewing or revisiting them in the future.

Be Wise And Avoid At All Cost!

It might be cheap, but the service you get is horrible, I was a customer for more than 1 year, my policy got cancelled just like that ( never had any claims made with them), customer service is very arrogant and unhelpful, no one cares if you want to make a complaint they just ignore it. They will not provide a reason for cancelling your policy, despite all the complaints and phone calls. It's very hard to find decent insurance after you had policy cancelation even harder if you don't know the cause for it.

Take your business to a more reputable insurer before it is too late.

I Recommend Not Even In A Dream

I'm trying to delete the policy of insurance for two months but have not done anything yet. I sent the e-mail and a letter for cancellation by mail several times but no one answers. Waste time and money. They are good to make you sign the contract, but when they become unable to erase

Dont Even Go There ,very Rude Customer Service

I have tried to cancel this policy more than once over the phone ,the lady on the phone was very rude ,

This company is a joke ,to open the policy over the telephone but not to be able to cancel over the telephone, this is a way of getting more money out of you. I have rang lots of times to be waiting listening to music at my own cost .

My advice is dont go there at any cost .I would have put no stars at all above if I could of.

Stay Away Rubbish

I dont know why ive been with these fools for a few years. Premium gets higher every year with my NCD and service is a joke. Plenty of better insurers out there.

Quinn direct does not have an option for social, domestic, pleasure and commuting, they only have social, domestic and pleasure. Yet I will be using the car for commuting also. Does this matter or will it not enable me to get insurance with this company because I won't be covered to and from work?
