Don't Believe What They Tell You

They say you get hire car with nothing to pay up front but this is not true , you have to prove you can't afford to pay for it yourself and if you can then you have too , I am still waiting after 18 months for a non fault claim to be closed , been with them for years and this is the only claim I've made . Never use them for ADI insurance, or any insurance

Adi Instructor Insurance

Adi insurance Quote process OK. However

Excepted quote, then they sent me an email with documentation, and request for me to send pictures of driving license, ADI badge, proof no claims.

Replied with these and thought all was OK.

However six days later received a email to send same documents.

Having checked if my documents were sent, none had been sent due to dodgy email address. spoke to them and was told that they have problems with that one and gave me another.

Resent my documents,

This time OK.

However they replied saying that they wouldn't except my proof of no claims.

Even though it was original and actually worded it could be used as proof if another insurance company needs it.

Personally I think this is a delay tactic so it pushes you outside of the 10 day cooling off period.

I now am being billed for the admin fee for shoddy services, because I am out of the cooling off period and canceled the policy.

I would not recommend this group to anyone.

Because if this is how they treat new customers, if you were to continue, with them how much trouble would you have, if you needed to make a claim?

Keep Clean, Hidden Hefty Costs.

My car had to go into the garage and was there for over 6 weeks and is still there waiting parts. Since the lockdown parts are not readily available and I am still waiting for my car to be repaired.

Waveney Group also known as Towergate insurance decided to charge me £96 for two weeks incurring admin costs every two weeks for a temporary insurance cover note for the courtesy car. It was only when I spoke to the lease company regarding the delay and asked them if they can cover the courtesy car they said my insurance company should have just transferred the current insurance to the replacement vehicle and advices me to flag this up with the financial ombudsmen.

Even after talking to the insurance about this, they just laughed down the phone at me(quite literally). Totally unprofessional and rude and looks like they are in the habit of treating their customers with contempt.

I am now bringing this matter to the financial ombudsmen……

50% Of The Premium Charged 4 Three Weeks On Risk!

I understand that there has to be some charges related to the insurance and the time on risk. However the charges just went beyond reasonable and well in to punitive!!

Total time on risk was 3 weeks, 1 week past the cool off period. In addition I had to chase them for the refund.

Use Them At Your Peril

Been with Waveney for 5 years, first four years fine, until I needed to make a claim, that when the problems started, after a accident arranged for my car to go in to be fixed, dropped my car at the garage, no hire car waiting for me, they had ran out of cars, they had two weeks notice about the date I needed a car, when I got a car 9 hours late, it was filthy inside and out and both foot wells were soaked, after a Waveny inquiry it was found to be a satisfactory service, with no cause for complaint, and when it came for renewall, I went elsewhere, and they can't get that right, messing up on paperwork and proof of no claims, inew insurance has cost me a bit more, but rather that, than stick with waverny, but at last I'm free, don't make the same mistake I did, don't go for cheap, it will bite you when you need it

I Have Been Insured Through Waveney For The Last 3

I have been insured through Waveney for the last 3 years and had to make my first claim this year and was very happy with the way may claim was dealt with. Waveney provided me with a dual control replacement vehicle whilst my car was off the road. I would recomend Waveney to any driving instructor looking to insure their dual control car.
