Any Wonder Insurance Companies Get Bad Press
I paid by direct debit for car insurance and after the last payment l sold my car. i received a renewal quote for my old car (50% more expensive )so i rung to cancel.I said i didn't want the new quote as i sold my car.i was then informed that there was a £50 fee as i had cancelled the policy early.I asked to speak to the manager and he was adamant that i was told on sign up. I asked for a copy of the transcript and he said that will be £10 and a form needs completing.I requested he sent by email but not received .I called back 5 minutes later and spoke with a different operator and he had never heard of the manager who spoke to me

My policy came to the end several days ago and I moved to another broker for the new policy 2015-2016. I requested my no claim discount document. First of all, they said that it could only be uploaded to my portal which can't be accessed after my policy expired. They then said that it would take up to 7-10 days to get the document sent to me by email and by post.
I wondered how other companies can send such a document by email within an hour or so whilst CC needs such a long time to prepare such a simply document. In addition the customer service team was rather arrogant, pushing and ignorant.

Horrible Customer Service - Horrible Complaint Handling
Hi,
Those guys came out of nowhere, some 6 months through my Car Insurance, claiming that my car details are incorrect, that it was showing Manual rather than Automatic. Obviously, I got back to me saying that the information was supposedly retrieved from the DVLA database and that it cannot be incorrect unless they messed with it. They claimed it was Confused.com fault and insisted on me paying the extra charge. No way they would try to solve the problem which happened between them and between Confused.com, no way they would try to show any good will, no way they try to take any action to keep the customer and make them happy.
One of the most disgusting I've ever experienced!
I have already contacted Customer Service and we have escalated to the Complaints Team and none was able to help. On the contrary, the only thing they cared about is the £50 and that's it, absolutely disgraceful!

Easy Purchase Process
The purchase process was very friendly and easy. The price was very competitive. Satisfactory so far. Luckily, no need to make a claim yet. I think the real deal is when one tries to makes a claim, that will really show up if this company actually provides a good service or not.
