"slow Claims And Awful Service"
I had a horrible time with Protect Your Bubble. The claim process was very slow, and the claims took even longer than what I had expected. Also, I had to make many follow-ups and found no good help from customer service. The insurance coverage was quite unsatisfactory, with a few hidden charges that landed in my account unbeknownst to me. So, in short, I was quite displeased by the service and would not be able to recommend it as a safe bet for protection.

Predatory Business Policies
I submitted my first claim with Protect Your Bubble in August 2024. I received my repaired iPhone on 31st August and began using it the following day, but serious issues emerged within just four days of use.
On 4th September, condensation appeared in both the front and rear cameras after minimal exposure to rain. This happened despite PYB's recent repairs. I contacted them as soon as possible, and they responded that they do not cover water damage for iPhone repairs—even though the issue clearly resulted from their poor workmanship.
The most frustrating part is that the faulty seals around the screen could only be identified after the phone was exposed to rain. Considering that the original device is IP68 certified and PYB claims to return phones to full working order, I would have expected the phone to withstand light rain.
Additionally, the phone's NFC (Apple Pay) functionality never worked after the repair. When I raised this issue, PYB conveniently refused to cover it, citing that they do not cover devices that have experienced water damage. This left me with a phone that did not meet the standard of an adequately repaired device.
I have been a paying customer, spending £19 a month for two and a half years with PYB, and I feel ripped off and poorly treated. PYB states that the repairs are quality-assured and tested, but I have not been sent proof of this. I highly doubt that there is quality assurance testing, as both the issues of poor sealing and faulty NFC would have been picked up.
PYB has demonstrated a lack of accountability, and their customer service has been deeply unsatisfactory due to their predatory policies. I strongly advise others to seek alternative insurance providers who take responsibility for their repairs and offer better customer support.
To resolve this, I expect PYB to review my case and either repair or replace my device to restore it to a complete working condition. Until these issues are fixed, I will file a complaint with the Ombudsman and continue to write negative reviews on all platforms where PYB can be reviewed, sharing my experience to dissuade others from doing business with them.

PLEASE DO NOT USE PROTECT YOUR BUBBLE
I had a jewellery insurance policy and they have tired every trick in the book to not payout on my genuine claim.
When I logged my claim I was on the phone for 35 seconds, they took hardly any information from me, then rejected the claim and terminated my policy.
Insurance companies are meant to provide peace of mind, and they have caused me nothing but stress, anger, and frustration, having to go through multiple appeals and complaints processes. Only when I informed them I would go to the FOB, they decided to pay my claim.
For you own sake and sanity, please AVOID.

Stay Away From Protect My Bubble!!!!!!!!!
STAY AWAY FROM PROTECT MY BUBBLE!!!!!!!!!
Took out insurance with protect my bubble paid every month got a new mobile phoned up and charged my the phone i had covered to my new phone. This month unfortunately i dropped my phone so ring up to make a claim but they said that i was not covered for the phone i was covered for my old phone. They said that there is no conversion off my new phone being charged. Due to Data Protection Act, GDPR and Call Recording Laws in the UK phone calls are only kept for 6 months to a year. Spoke to someone the other day and they could not find that call so how are they going to find a call from a year ago and they can't find one from the other day. I would definitely NOT recommend them. Stay away.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst Company Ever - Waste Of Money!
I started my claim in October 2018 for a stolen iPhone, it is now January 2019 and my claim is ongoing. I now see that PYB is deliberately putting up obstacles in order not to fulfill their obligations. Every time I speak with them they ask for a new document, new format. Every person says and asks for different things, I made a complaint weeks ago to their dedicated Complaints team and all I got from that was a very rude phone call with the PYB member of staff being aggressive. I have provided proof of my IMEI number and proof of usage in so many different formats, I literally have no other way of proving them as I have exhausted all my options. Their Fraud team keeps contacting me, implying I am trying to commit fraud, despite the fact that I have been a customer for almost 3 years, paid hundreds of pounds for the policy, never made a claim, and was pick pocketed. I am now escalating my complaint, but having read reviews of this awful company, I am definitely not the only one with the same experience. I would have been better off putting my monthly payments into a savings account to replace my phone. This whole experience has been a complete nightmare, the worst customer service I have ever had.

Worst Insurance Provider
Spent 3 years with this company, wouldn't allow me to replace my handset when it was needed, ask me to complete tasks to get a new handset, I went 7days without a device, called my network provider and they went the extra mile and got me a new device, 3 years of £10 a month protect my b
They don't even reply to your e-mail, customer support, service is shocking, I'ubble have extracted from my bank, I had nothing but stress off them, I would never use or recommend this company.
m emailing regulators next, it's awful that businesses are allowed to operate when they treat customers like this.
After further investigation, it seems that they treat their customers like this often, forums are full of bad comments.

Worst Insurance - I Am Told That Have To Wait Uncertain Time
I have a lost and stolen policy for my items.
I made a claim for my stolen gadgets on 14th OCT and sent all necessary documents they've requested. I explained my urgent need for the replacements that the gadgets are part of my urgent business process and It has effects on my job negatively. I didn't hear anything from them since.
I called today and wait for half an hour on the phone. The only answer I got whatever I said was repeatedly read from a script that I have to wait 2 business day to get an answer after reviewing of few documents! Then I wonder what's waiting for me at the next step.
Update 17th OCT:
They sent me forms to fill and told me to wait 2 business day again!
Why didn't send me these forms at the first time??? Why unnecessarily are you taken my time even though I told you it is urgent?
Update 20th OCT:
No answer after two working days. I called them and wait about an hour on the phone and I am told that I have to wait uncertain time period until a hired investigation team completed their investigation. I asked that if they can give me an approximate time and I am told they can't give me any time period how long I have to wait.
Now I will be seeking legal advice.

I phoned up on the 8/9/17 to make my claim, it was easy I was told to provide proof of usage and email the claim forms and 48hours later I would have an outcome, Today is the 18/9/17 with no outcome and here is what I have been through over the last week of phoning everyday.

Amazing Company
I don't normally write reviews but I can't get over how stress free making a claim was! after 3 days my phone was back looking as good as new! I would recommended this company to anyone!
Q&A
If I do not have original receipt for phone will they insure this phone?
They will probably insure it but if you claim on the policy they won't pay out. Suggest you call them and ask first as they may accept a receipt from the person you bought it from. If you got it from say Vodaphone they will be able to give a you a copy receipt if you ask them. Hope that helps. I had a claim 4 weeks ago for a lost phone and they didn't ask for the receipt but the same phone had been subject of a damage claim 2 years ago and they asked for the receipt then so still had it on file. It took them 2.5 weeks to send on a replacement and I had to fork out £75 excess as standard on their policy.
Can I get the money value on my TV instead of a replacement?
You may struggle to claim anything! I paid for cover over 2 years & when I needed to make a legitimate claim (which I could prove) they told me to take a run & jump. Avoid using them full stop is my advice!
I had two guys threaten me and take my bicycle off me in the woods when I was out riding. Is it covered under Protect Your Bubble?
You would probably have to report it to the police within 10 seconds of it happening to qualify. If you're 11 seconds from a phone then tough!
Please can you explain why your company refuse to mention that the items that are insured will not be replaced when stolen wwith a new product instead of reconditioned ones?
