Zenith Motorcycle Insurance

Someone hit my motorbike whilst it was parked in a car park. I managed to get the licence plate, established they were insured and who with. Reported to police as hit & run and obtained a crime number. I gave all these details to Zenith who eight weeks later have been totally useless at pursuing the gulity party through their insurers. Have so far phoned at least 10 times, e-mailed about 5 times and they are totally disinterested wanting me to claim on my insurence hence losing my no claims and forking out £150.00 excess. Have now threatened them with Financial Ombudsman - will see what happens. Meantime bike still unrepaired but luckily drivable. Would never recommend these people to anyone!

Iwent through swinton brokers online quote, i was searching for insurers who specialised with riders with convictions? up popped swinton/zenith, did the quote online declared my tt99 on my licence ... even had to send a photocopy of my licence off after taking out the policy.. fine no problems, and not a bad quote considering. i was insured with them for the first year and had no problems.... and when the time came to renew my policy as the twelve month term was nearly up, swinton telephoned me to tell me this and asked do you want to carry on the insurance for your bike?. answer yes , nothing has changed since taking out the policy twelve months ago.. except im just in the process of moving 125 miles down the road, apart from that all origional details are still the same, so they went ahead and renewed my policy over phone and my premium dropped loads. wow! i said, why?.. because you now have 1 years nc. and because of youre new post code, brilliant thanx v much, i,ll continue with them then.. couple of months down the line i had a accident, and rang my claims line, they sent out lbl bike recoverers to collect my bike for a asseser to asess, next thing zenith are on phone checking i had a c.b.t. certificate, etc etc all fine an asseser has looked at the damage from lbl and now were waiting for youre insurers to send a asesser to see if they agree with ours? i think unfortunatley youre bike will be unrepairable?. ie.. wrote off, ok... next thing i hear is... we zenith are not paying out for youre bike as your insurance is void????? huh??? you, me.i. have a tt99 undisclosed conviction on your licence..... so no payout bikes stuck somewhere at lbl in birmingham 150?odd miles away,?.... so obviously the clown at swinton who phoned me up and oh so easily renewed my quote from my 12 month previous 1 did not see i had a tt99 on my origional policy??? W.T.F?.. so i warn you zenith swinton as well are cheap quotes,, but very very incompetent/useless customer service also, when i was going through my claim process, I had to do all the ringing and chasing around!!! phoning premium rate 0845 etc no,s. wich i have a bill for £46. on top of them worming there way out of my claim.. so i say do yourselves a BIG BIG BIG favour... go with someone else,, read reviews ask family/friends/research research... or be happy with your cheap quote?, untill you unfortunatly have to make a claim from zenith, then they will find a clause, and you will be deep in the do do, with not a penny.... AVOID AT ALL COST.. ZENITH...

I will never use them again i rate the service -10/10 when some crash into me and made off without stopping they didnt help one bit i had to pay for my own car recovered then when i got a hire car off them they said i would have it for atleast a week. So i filled it up as it had no fuel only to give it back the next day without any refund on the fuel. The communaction is very bad and my claim is still on going since the start of the year.They also ripped me off with the value of my car when i got some valuations they declined them all and they were all off proper companies.

PLEASE NEVER USE THEM AS I WOULDNT WANT ANYONE TO GET MESSED ABOUT OFF THEM LIKE I DID!!

had an accident spent six weeks in hospital they have recieved the police report which is missing key evidence for me and they won't even fight the other partys claim so i've already lost my claim in effect

don't use them unless you can guarantee you will never need to claim for anything

i had a bike acciedent in feb Zenith Motorcycle Insurance said they would cover my payment at 2900 pounds and guess what im still waiting. i filled out all docuements and yet..

My 1st bike was a Honda Varadero 125 ( riding it on a CBT).

I only had it for 4 months and some chavs set it alight while it was parked in the street ( at 2 AM - Bare this in mind when you read the review at the top ).

Zenith paid out the market price within three weeks.

I can't complain at all.

Whats the point of Insurance cover if you cannot claim? Answer - It gets you the freedom of the road, but beware.

When you are with Zenith Insurance they give you a good 'deal'. Only if you go through them and hook up with another broker, that I cannot mention on here for legal reasons.

Before you sign, make sure you don't ride your machine at night time between 10pm and 6am. If you park it and it goes missing you will be informed that you have no claim.

This company uses the 'Endorsement 31' clause - between these hours the machine MUST be securely locked and left in its garage, check this detail before you take out the policy.

I went to work and had my Honda Blackbird stolen.

It cost me £8000 PLUS and I still have the HP to pay back for TWO YEARS yet, PLUS all the wasted policy payments. Did I mention my no claims going down the pan after 24 years?

I bought the TW125 on the day I saw it and needed insurance quickly. The shop had Zenith advertising and I just called up and got the bike was insured. I dont know how competative they were,as I didn't shop around. BUT - I had the bike stolen and Zenith paid up quickly with no problems. Very nice.
