230% Loading On Premium Following Claim
Following a claim earlier this year I received the premium renewal details 1 day before date of renewal, I was aghast that the premium had risen by 230%. I called Lifetime Petcare to discuss and was passed from pillar to post before actually speaking to someone who promised to check with the relevant department in order to see if there was a possibility of reducing the premium, however a return call was not made and I again had to chase up. Apparently as they considered the possibility of further claims in this coming period of insurance as high the premium was loaded accordingly and no reduction was possible. This is a company which prides itself with good customer service and boasts the title of ‘most trusted pet insurer of 2018’. Not the experience which I have encountered and so no surprise that I have cancelled this policy forthwith!
