Fantastic Customer Service
I purchased the moped six months ago. There have been a number of mechanical problems with it since then. However, Central Scooters have always been very helpful and although the warrenty had expired they had the moped back and fixed the problems for me. Both the staff at the shop and the guys at the repair centre in Lye were very polite and understanding. I would like to thank them for their service and would buy from them again in the future.

To The Small Minded Opposition Competative Companies
There is obviously a competative opposition scooter company.Who find Central scooters a threat to themselves.Leaving negative feedback.I have just recently bought a BTM QT 20 from Central Scooters. For my 16 year old son.I am from Stoke On Trent.I found the staff very friendly with no obligation.I bought the scooter. Was ready when they said.So i collected in person. As they use courier carriers which is in no way connected to Central Scooters. The scooter did unfortunately malfunction in a short space of time. The findings were due to assembly in china.Central Scooters were very good. Within the day the scooter was ready for collection no problems. The bikes are off good quality value for money. With excellent helpful staff and after sales service. And would recommend them to anyone.

Very Pleased With My Purchase
the staff were very helpful when I was deciding on my purchase, and I am very pleased with my bike, excellent value for money, so I went to central scooters and sorted me out very quickly with everything that I needed.. I was new to this process and they did everything for me, from registering and taxing the bike, which saved me a lott of time. I initially went to another company and was promised that I would have my bike in 6 days but 4 weeks later I was still waiting for my bike. I would definitely recommend central scooters to any one that is thinking of getting a bike.

Bought My Bt49qt-11 In January From Central Scoote
Bought my bt49qt-11 in January from central scooters. The delivery driver was very rude and I had to wait in all day. The scooter arrived with panel damage. The scooter kept cutting out. The throttle sticks and the fuel tank leaks. Not happy with my purchase.
Just to clarify (from Central Scooters).
We clearly state that we use a National Carrier (TNT) and delivery can be anytime from 9-5 (unless we otherwise agree an alternative method of transport), the drivers are not employed by ourselves so we have no control over them. Again, with regards to the damage caused in transit, this would have been down to TNT however we would have rectified the problem immediately.
As for the other issues you refer to, it would be good to know what mileage and servicing you have done as I am sure the cutting out would be down to valve clearances or carb settings which should all be done a regular service intervals.

I Agree With All The Negatives. A Real Waste Of Mo
I agree with all the negatives. A real waste of money. It is Chinese rubbish. Most reputable garages won't touch the scooter I got from central scooters. My list of problems with the scooter is endless. Started with simple wing mirror issues of not screwing and ending with the whole top end of the engine failing. I am a very annoyed customer, have contacted trading standards.
In response to this review:
1. Mirrors do not just work loose, there is a nut that needs tightening 'with a spanner' once in the mirror is in the correct position.
2. We understand that some mechanics will not touch Chinese imports, this is due to the fact they are not confident in being able to get the parts but we stock all parts. However this must be your responsibility to find a suitable garage before making the purchase, not ours.
3. Top ends/engines do not usually fail unless worn, obviously on the odd occasion there can be the odd fault however in our experience of servicing these scooters engine failure generally occurs through misuse and failure to service/maintain the scooters.
Its always best to contact Central Scooters with any issues as trading standards will generally tell you to do that anyway.

I Have Had My Btm Scooter For Around 3 Months Now,
I have had my BTM scooter for around 3 months now, it seemed ok to start with, but like other reviewers on here it started to have major problems. The scooter kept stalling, there was a smell of petrol all the time and the kick start failed to work. The scooter looks OK but dont be fooled. I have now purchased a 50cc Zip Peugeot from my local dealer.
Please contact us (Central Scooters) with your issues, we are happy to help. I would be pretty sure that the scooter needed its first service which a lot of riders think they don't need to do as its a new scooter but it is very important to do this - then they wonder why problems occur.
Keep up with maintenance and servicing and you will get good use from your scooter.

I Ordered A Btm Sport Scooter, It Arrived Late As
I ordered a btm sport scooter, it arrived late as I had to wait for them to register it. It turns out that in fact I am the second owner and not the first as you would imagine. Scooter turned up with damage on the panels and would not start. The scooter would not start. A whole list of other problems occurred, I very much regret purchasing my scooter from central scooters. Wished I had read these review before my purchase.
Response from Central Scooters:
We advise on the phone at point of sale the delivery time - if you were not happy with this then the order should not have been placed.
With regards you being the second owner, this is clearly explained on the terms and conditions on our website. The scooter will be registered to the company to enable us to obtain vehicle registration and tax. Ownership is then transferred over by way of V5/Log book. It is not our fault if terms and conditions are read.
In respect of the damage on delivery, we use a National Carrier at times and can only apologise for the damage caused in transit however I am 100% sure we resolved this issue at minimal hassle to yourself. With regards to not starting, I would have to dispute this as all vehicles are PDi'd and running to the point they leave our premises.
