Great Bike Shop
Got my first new bike here, vulcan900 custom, first cruiser aswell, found the whole process excellent. Got a great part ex and price for the new bike, found the staff friendly and knowledgeable and not pushy at all, even had a wonder around to look at the other stuff, could spend days just looking around, especially at the h2. All in all first class

Dont Always Believe What You Read
Dont always believe what you see and read!
I recently purchased a zzr1400 from this dealership and the salesman Bill could not have been more helpful and understanding and after my purchase he has continued to keep in touch and continued to assist.
I have also dealt with there parts department to purchase extras and again they have been really patient, understanding and helpful.
Thank you Daytona motorcycles, I have bought 9 bikes in the last 2 years from small to the biggest dealerships and they could all do with learning about customer care and service from Daytona motorcycles.
I know all about sales, 30 years in retail, I was always the top salesman in several retailers ive worked for and was regional trainer for the biggest electrical retailer in the UK.
keep up this 5* service and I wish you all the best for the future.
Worst Bike Shop Ever
To cut a real long story short, took my Burgman 650 in for service, gearbox became noisy after riding for 70 miles afterwards. They didn't put enough oil in the transfer box. They stripped it down, couldn't find the cause of the problem, was worse when they rebuilt and I collected it. Had to take it to an recommended independent bike mechanic, replaced 3 (galled) damaged gears and bearings, cost me £1500.00 to get it put right. Was going to take them to court, but my solicitor said that the way the company is set up,I'd never get any money out of them....that's clever of them. Wouldn't trust them to fix my pushbike......ATA qualified mechanic? I laugh at that! Don't use them, look for a bike shop with good reviews!!

Brilliant Outstanding Service
Exceptional service, would whole heatedly recommend.
Not Impressed
I bought my GSR750 (Suzuki) from Daytona in September this year. Giving Daytona its dues, the bike was priced very well for an ex-demo, however... I have phoned up and ptu a deposite on the bike when it had 200 miles on the clock, at the time of pick up, it managed to do another 100 miles (i.e.: it was still used as a demo AFTER the deposit was collected). The service was decent - bike was ready for me to collect on the day. All extras were extortionately expensive (although this is little to do with the dealer, I subsequently found everything I wanted at least 30% cheaper)online through other dealers. When it came to 600-mile service I got advised by another authorised Suzuki outlet that the original dealer should service the bike for free, however Daytona contact had a little giggle at my request and advised that this is not the case with them and the first service would cost me ~£120 (plus I'd have to trek to Ruislip from Greenwich to have it done). A local mechanic did the service for £100 and chucked in installation of sliders and screen for free...
Overall, although Daytona is not outrageously bad, I would not go out of my way to get my bike bought from these guys.

I Bought A 5-year Old Multistrada Here With 10,000
I bought a 5-year old Multistrada here with 10,000 miles on the clock, but have been having problems with the bike from day 1. During my test ride, I noticed that the rear brakes were not working and required the shop to deal with the issue. When I came to pick up the bike I was assured everything had been fixed. I drove off, but some 10 minutes later the brakes stopped working again. And that was only the beginning of a long list of problems with the bike. Which keep on accumulating. I have since had to replace multiple parts, and the shop has been incredibly unsupportive when I pointed out to them that they have sold me a bike that was in far worse condition than advertised. Beware and stay away!!!

I Ordered My New Er-6f From Daytona In Ruislip, An
I ordered my new ER-6F from Daytona in Ruislip, and all seemed to be well until collection day, when I got a call to say that he ordered the more expensive ABS version. To my surprise he let me have the ABS version without additional charge.
Servicing can be a problem, as they only operate on a first come first served service. They open at 9am, but by 8:15am there are already about 3 bikes there in the queue. I ended waiting until midday before they completed my bike's first service. A bloke who got there before I did was a doctor who had pre-arranged a courtesy bike, and he needed a bike to get into central London for surgery. He ended up getting the tube in all his bike gear because the guy who arranged the bike was late for work.
So in general, I didn't have a problem buying a brand new bike from my local Kawasaki dealer, but for servicing you might want to look elsewhere.
As I mentioned in my review - I really recommend to find a trustworthy local mechanic instead of using Suzuki. In my experience it works out MUCH cheaper and if you use someone who has been proven trustworthy (like LCR Motorcycles in Greenwich :)) and you get things done properly and quickly.
