Dreadful Experience.
This has to be the worst car auction I have been to.This car auction should be avoided at all costs if you are looking to buy a second hand car,you buy as you see,no test drive and most important no comeback if the car is faulty.Bids seem to be taken off the walls. Then if you happen to be the unlucky one and the car falls to you there is an indemnity to pay which is another 10% of the price of the car.It is about time trading standards checked the conduct of these auctioneers.Take my advice and go to a proper dealer who will allow you to test drive and will stand over the vehicle.

Wilson's Auctions- Appalling Site , Appalling Service
After being awarded a 3 year contract by Merseyside police , i contacted Wilsons to register for theor online auctions the website is absolutely appalling , its amateurish, poorly maintained , and frustratingly to use or browse.Wilsons demand a deposit before you can bid and there isnt a catalogue to browsw before paying them a deposit which takes 14 days ( minimum ) to refumd which is essentially allowing Wilsons to keep your cash until they want to give you it back
I Have complained to Merseyside police and the police and crime commisiomer as this company are beyond useless.

Total Waste Of Time & Money
Drove two hours and a ferry crossing to a property open day but the wilsons agent never showed up. Disgusting lack of regard for buyers and sellers for that matter. I would never use them knowing they treat prospective buyers like that. Can't say anything on any other matters regarding this Co but expect it's all bad reading other reviews. Try auction house.
Not Ood To Deal With
Interested in an auction but could not attend. Told could bid online but would need to pay £500 deposit which would be repaid next day if I did not buy anything. In next section of the form it said that if you BUY anything with the credit card there will be a service fee. Wilsons charged £512.60 but only credited £500. They claim need to pay service charge whether buy or not. This is dishonest. They refuse to refund. Will not use again.
They should be upfront and say that there is a £12.60 fee to register for the auction not sneak charge in.

Complete Arrogant Horrible People To Do Business With
Having dealt with auctions for a long number of years, I must say they are the most arrogant, rude people to deal with. Customer satisfaction does not enter their world. Absolutely horrible to deal with and not at all interested in retaining customers.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS - BETTER PEOPLE OUT THERE TO DEAL WITH THAN THIS COMPANY WHICH MAKE COMPANIES LIKE WONGA LOOK GOOD!!
Hope that this is of help to those who are thinking of using them, BEWARE AT ALL COSTS!!
Poor Standards, only Interested In Getting Their Money
Sold my car 3 weeks ago and still have not received my cheque,By the time my money comes then clears in my bank it will be over a month since I sold my car,A large quantity of people who sell their car are looking to buy a new one so one month without a car is a long time,Get the feeling that once Wilsons get their money the customer comes second,Had the same thing the last time I dealt with Wilsons so won't be using them again !
Worst Customer Service I Have Ever Had
I entered my car for auction on the 16/04/12 and was advisedby the member of staff that if my vehicle did not sell on the next day 17/04/12auction that it would be entered into the Thursday auction 19/04/12 and there would be one charge of £34. I then signed the vehicle entry form.
At no point was I asked If I was aware of the terms and conditions nor was I shown or given a copy of the terms and conditions of sale.
A week later having heard nothing I called Dalry branch and asked if my car had sold which it had not. I then asked for it to be put in on the Thursday 26/04/12 auction and that if it did not sell that I would collectit the following week as I was working nightshift and I was told that this would not be a problem.
Today Friday 4th April I arrived at Wilsons Auction in Dalry expecting to pay the two auction fee’s totalling £68.88 andwas in fact told I had to pay £241.08 as my car had been entered into 7 auctions. I explained to the member of staff that at no point did I was for my car to be entered into these nor was I called to be asked if I wished my car tobe entered into the additional auctions.
The member of staff then called a manager over. Who listened to what I have just explained above. The manager stated I should have read the terms and conditions and that ‘What did you expect us to do with the car’ and ‘It’s not my fault you were on nightshift’ I found the manager to be extremely rude throughout.
I asked him why my car had been put through 7 auctions without my knowing or consent and he said ‘that’s the terms and conditions’ and ‘did I just expect my car to be sitting there without charge’.
WELL TO BE FARE TO WILSONS AUCTIONS THEY DONE THERE BEST TO SELL YOUR CAR BY ENTERING IT INTO 7 AUCTIONS,EITHER YOUR CAR WAS TO DEAR OR WAS IN BITS THAT IT DIDNT SELL IN 7 AUCTIONS

I bought from Wilsons at Mallusk.
You do not know what you are buying. Worst still they sell you warranty with the car, but its not worth the paper its written on.
I bought a car and had to put a new engine in it within a month!
Stay well clear, you can get higher quality cars elsewhere for the same price, with at least some comeback should things go wrong.

Surprised To Read Negative Reviews. Both My Partn
Surprised to read negative reviews. Both my partner and myself have bought cars from the Dalry auction rooms and we are delighted with them, their cost, and the efficiency with which sales are conducted. We had no problems at all - in fact, on the night of one car being purchased, the guys were only too happy to let us have a test-drive after the auction had closed. Great place to buy cars and I would definitely go back rather than buy from the big-named places. The value for money is much better at Wilson's.
