Mediocre Product, Awful Customer Support

ought their "upgraded" stainless steel coilovers for my audi A3. Shipping to Canada was fairly quick which was nice. Coilovers look nice, but the threads on one of the front strut assemblies came damaged, causing the lockring to become suck (after it had thread in perfectly for 2 inches).

I reached out to their customer service email, as this is clearly a manufacturers defect. Their representative from the export department, was repetitive, useless, and rude. I explained the situation, sent pictures, and offered to send videos. The only reply I would receive back was "sorry your claim lies with the garage who damaged them", which is nonsensical as if anybody had bothered to look at the pictures I sent it is clear that my problem came as a result of a poorly manufactured product.

Extremely disappointed to say the least. I even asked to be able to buy a replacement, and continued to receive the same reply.

Springs are bouncy and overall suspension is passable, but lacks dampening.

Unless you are German or can take advantage of Germanies strong warranty laws, don't buy from here. Spend $30 more and buy from another company in North America who takes warranty claims seriously and makes a better dampened product.

Fk Is A Great Company

FK automotive has been more than helpful, and when sissies with my order arrived, customer service was happy to lend a helping hand and assist me to arrive at the satisfactory solution.

A 500$ CAD set of adjustable coilovers is the best deal on the market for suspension for your e90 / euro car. Just a set of shocks and struts would cost 500$, we are talking about a high quality coilover set for less than the price of your monthly grocery bill.

My package was damaged in transport by Fedex, and the customer service agents were kind enough to send a new set of the parts I was Missing / that arrived damaged.

When FedEx also mistakenly double charged me for the duties, they were kind enough to see the problem and refund my funds.

Customer service got back to me relatively fast considering they are across the globe & in different time zones (Germany to Canada)

The only thing I would like to see change at Fk is the way the website displays what cars each coilover kit will fit.

It seems very complicated that you need to enter your make & model & sometimes it will say it won’t fit even though it actually will.

My suggestion would be to copy the way ECS tuning and FCP euro have the fitment displayed on their website. With a list of each year make and model fit.

For example , e90 RWD BMW’s all have the same fitment for coilovers however the system will show that it does not fit in some e90 models.

They don't refund your money. It's been over a month now. They are just *****. A German company that acts like a Chinesse one. That's lame..

They Don`t Send You Everything You Paid For, There

They don`t send you everything you paid for, therefore you are being robbed in some kind of a way... They don`t refund for the ittems you have paid and later did not recieve...

Made an order for headlights and paid by creditcard. They send me an email same day saying that order has been canselled due to the fact that they do not have the goods. Company has not credited any money regardless of their promise of 14 day refund.

Buy Elsewhere People

purchased a set of coilovers for my car from this crowd after a while I have a faulty front strut which was leaking oil everywhere. however they have basically told me to get stuffed and that "apparently" only came with 6 months warranty which is utter rubbish. I would never purchase it if it was only 6 months warranty. Please buy from other suppliers people dont be stung like every other person leaving a negative review towards them. There reSponse time to reply to emails is not acceptible

Misled On Price. Stay Away

I brought a set of shocks for my boys mini, had to pay via bank transfer which cost me £15 as the card payment on the site was not working.

I ordered my parts from the main web site, went to checkout and paid the full amount included postage what was requested on the invoice.

An email was then sent to me with an invoice showing my parts and the full cost. Also showing my payment,

After 4 days I emailed them asking if they have received my payment, answer was no!

I email again the next day this time with the info from my bank.

They said yes payment has been received but I am over 40euros short on the payment.

I aske why as I paid the full amoun which was shown on the invoice. They said It might be that I have missed the postage cost (MIGHT). This later changed to "I have not paid the correct amount for the item"

I requested they send me my item as I brought and paid for as sold on the website.

They refused and said they will not pay for my mistakes. I needed to pay the extra via bank transfer to get what I wanted. (This would cost me an extra £15 as they would not allow payment by card)

I request a full refund and wanted my money back.

2 days later they are still sending me emails asking for extra payment even though I requested a refund.

3 days after requesting a refund they agreed to pay me my money back which would take 2 weeks to reach my account.

I am very unimpressed with how I was treated and how they accused me of making mistakes when it was clearly the fault of the company. I have invoices to prove everything from my side.

I'm still waiting for my refund,,,,

I ordered some headlights which have never turned up,e-mailed to ask why I haven't received them and they said they couldn't find my order yet the money was taken out and get ignored when asking for refund then finally got a reply saying the item won't be back in stock until next month and now being ignored again because I asked for a refund!!! useless don't bother ordering anything!

Had No Problems With Fk Automotive

Recently ordered a pair of sports shock absorbers for my car from FK, really good price hence the reason for my purchase, the parts were delivered quite quickly to say they had to come from Germany, on inspection one of the front shocks was found to be faulty so I contacted FK via email and received a reply next morning asking me to email pictures of the faulty part, this I did and and received a new part delivered within the week at no extra cost, they did not even ask me to send the faulty part back to them. I can only speak from my experience with FK but I have had no problems and would purchase items again.

I purchased two Micra K11 shock absorbers. Waited 14 days for delivery after a delay in customs, came to fit and they are not even off a Micra.

Contacted to send back and get a replacement or a refund and no reply.

I have tried on 3 occasions and still no reply. I now have a product that is useless and have had to fork out yet again to get the correct product in the UK. Do not use this company they only want your money and send the wrong item.
