What A Wonderfull Car 1995, 320i E36.
Bought mine six months ago and must admit its a wonderfull car. After a wide research I sold my Mazda Etude 1.6iSE 2002 in favour of this car. My car has everything you can expect from a modern car, two air bags, driver and passanger, six CD radio tape with RDS, 110kw of raw power and add ABS what more can you expect on a car? I will never sale it even if given a blank cheque, never.
Took the car one day for a spin and out-sprinted my friend who drives a Golf 5 GTI.Off the line, it needs to be pushed very hard but once in motion it keeps pulling strong and keeps going on and on. I clocked 190km/h and my friend was watching my back and never allowed him to overtake. The car can handle 235km/h with extra power to spare. Wonder how at BMW they managed that.
Rule of the game is to keep the car up to date service wise and you will never regret the union with this extremely good German machine at its best.

My old girl is now 20 years old. She is getting to the age where things arnt working as well as they use to. However she is a pleasure to drive, comfortable, quite economical and she has the grunt if you need it. I am very impressed with the
Quality of workmanship that is still evident even the car was built 20 years ago. Unfortunatly like everything, eventually things start to fail, but i will get these things fixed and keep this beautiful car running. I love it to bits, i just hope she doesnt make me broke.

This is a lovely car with lots of power when you need it. My automatic is a real smoothie. Beautiful alloys and low profile tyres It has done 73000 miles and is in new condition. Its thirsty in town but cruising on the motorway is much better. The on board mpg meter is something one keeps ones eye on !.
Put it on sports mode and the power is awesome in all gears. The first owner was meticulous in keeping it serviced. I haven't had to fork out for any repairs so far. The MOT was passed easily as it needed nothing done.

Overall Performance Is Good, But It's A Pity That
Overall performance is good, but it's a pity that this car doesn't match up with the much lesser expensive Opel Calibra in terms of performance, acceleration, speed.

I love this car. Not as quick as the 1993 Honda Prelude coupe i had prior but handles better. Have had some small problems occurring recently (faulty dash cluster, broke the vent control somehow)that i guess i'll be forking out for but it's fifteen years old. Superb handling (just put some replica 18" M3 alloys on),a little sluggish under 3000rpm but who gets it all! Classic looks and pretty reliable when serviced regularly. Hint: Check dash cluster working (tap the dash a couple of times to see if needles drop away, will cost $200-300AUS if broken) ,service history important. If pre 1996 check water pump has been replaced. Plastic impellers WILL fail at some stage if not replaced with metal one. Happy driving.

Bmw'93 325i Coupe - The Thought Crossing My Mind W
BMW'93 325i coupe - the thought crossing my mind when i first tested an e36, 2 years ago, was "the e36 325i coupe must've been a hell of a car back in its days". sporty, good-looking and very reliable, the 6cyl e36 offers a good value for its money. interior is plain "german", everything in place and handy, leather looks good and the driving position will satisfy anyone, with the seat's 4 different adjustements and adjustable steering wheel and the 8 speaker sound system will keep you entertained on long road trips. on the tech side, the german engineers did a great job: well balanced by the 51-49 weight distribution and sporty suspension, the car will corner fast and precise even at high speed, a thing that comes in very handy if we think that this car will do 0-100kmh in ~7 sec and will top out a decent 233kmh! gas milleage is somewhere around 30mpg, a decent number considering the 2.5 24 valves engine and the 192bhp that that need to be "fed". I rated this car 4, only compared to the latest models, but if i had to rate it in his "age-band", and compare it to '92-'99 cars, i would definitely rate it a 5+!

I Think This Product Is Beautiful. That's Right, B
I think this product is beautiful. That's right, beautiful! I say this because I rode in a BMW 320i E36 once. It was an automatic too. It was a 4 door sedan and it had an aircon, central locking, electric windows at the front and back, leather seats, power steering and a sunroof. I just had a thought about the sound of the exhaust pipe. Sometimes when I hear the 320i E46 running the exhaust pipe sounds like a good one so I just thought that the exhaust pipe on the e36 could have the same sound too.

I have had my BMW E36 2.5 litre for 11 years (101,000) miles, and it has not put a foot wrong. I just get to appreciate it more and more. The gear ratios are exactly right, and as I said third gear will cover anything. All controls are exactly where you need them and have the perfect weight and feel. It does about 32 mpg, and the engine can adjust and respond to super-unleaded, which I tend to use, but the price differential from standard unleaded is more than it used to be. The car feels stable and secure in all situations. I am not a heavy-handed driver but a car-sensitive (IAM) driver.

I have had my 1992 (now 2009!) BMW 3 Series 320i E36 for about a year now and the only thing that has gone wrong is a squeaky brake disc guard, which i cured in about a minute. :) I have found this car to be reliable to no end, always starts, runs beautifully (105,000 miles). The ride quality is superb for a car of it's size, and the mid-high end rev range gives a good kick in the behind.Overall I'd give this car 8.5/10It could do with a little more power, but then again.. I love the straight-six sound, so it doesn't really matter to me. Comfy Ride, Quiet, Good Motorway Power - great looks. :D
