Overall The Citroen C3 A Good Little Car For Town
Overall the Citroen C3 a good little car for town the 1.4 is fine for motorway drivng as well. Have no problems with this car and is one of the better small mini types i have had for my wife. Required very little maintenance and is a safe drive. It is not flashy so don't expect sharp acceleration especially if you let the revs drop off. I would have another one as it is ideal for town and short journey motorway driving.

Never Buy A Citroen. I Got Rid Of It There A Few M
Never buy a Citroen. I got rid of it there a few months ago and got a lovely new Yaris. A lot nicer to drive and plenty of reliability. If thinking of buying a Citroen - DONT! Buy japanase cars. Should have done the first time around.

Front Suspension Collapse Just Outside Of Warranty
Front suspension collapse just outside of warranty. This car was first registered in 10/2004, but was not part of the VOSA recall.
Citroen have agreed to pay for the springs as a good will gesture but not for the labour or resulting damage the collapse has caused nor the cost of recovery as my RAC was not 'home start' and I had managed to limp the car home amidst the smell of burning rubber! I am far from happy given this appears to be a common fault with these cars and a serious safety issue. This is not a bill I expect to pay out for on a car of this age and mileage. The local Citroen dealers have been helpful but Citroen need to be taking responsibility for this fault and taking appropriate action before somebody has a serious accident if it has not already occurred.
Loose trims - have needed replacing.
The general running of this car is low but balanced against the my safety and my families I definitely would not buy again.

Don't buy a C3. Citroen customer service doesn't exist. Dealers aren't interested either. Buy Japanese!

Bought The Citroen C3 Car For The Wife, She Was He
Bought the Citroen C3 car for the wife, she was hell bent on the car/shape. It is economical enough, but not fantastic by todays standards. I have never liked the car (1400LX) from new, the manual n/s wing mirror is hopeless & the car is noisy (road noise). If 'the boss' had allowed (after all she drives the dog 60 miles a day) I would have traded it for a diesel fiesta after 2 months. The change would have only cost another £1000.
The wife thinks the same as me now, the car is made to throw away. Obviously other people have had more problems than what we have. Our only other problem has been brakes, the squeelly & sticking variety. DIXONS would not look at it, without the threat of charging---afterall without looking how do they know the full extent of the problem. NO BRAKE PROBLEMS COVERED AFTER 3 MONTHS --- What a warranty. The same response was met from Citroen. Our other car is a Vauxhall Zafira, after 2 years the dealership was still happy to look at brake problems. No more Citroens thank you, when you buy a new car you expect 'peace of mind' and not fobbing off.

Had This Citroen C3 Family Car For Two Years And H
Had this Citroen C3 family car for two years and have completed about 30000km. Have driven the car in very difficult weather conditions (very heavy rain, snow, heat) and had no problem whatsoever. I use it every day for my drives around the city and most of the weekends for nearby and not so nearby trips. It required nothing more than the scheduled visits to service (every 10000km for a check and oil change). It is an excellent car and very pretty too.
