A Sturdy Workhorse
I loved this car and I'm sorry I sold it, I am looking for another one. It worked so hard - through all weathers and not a spot of bother for years, I recommend this car if you can find one (turbo diesel) does 60-70mpg and £30 road tax. It did 2 house moves too - holds loads. I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Remarkably Nippy For The 1.4l Engine, Very Economi
Remarkably nippy for the 1.4L engine, very economical & low emissions is a bonus. The ride & seating height is very comfortable & gives you an all round view as if driving a 4x4. Gear shift is smooth, easy to use & great fun when using the paddles or the stick shift. Surprisingly spacious & roomy, & all the little compartments & drinks holders for all passengers is a great touch.

I Think The Relatively Large Low Revving Diesel En
I think the relatively large low revving diesel engine is its strong point. I also appreciate the seats being slightly higher than normal, and the thoughtful touches like drawers beneath each front seat.
Overall, the citroen C3 XTR is an excellent small car !

I First Reviewed My Citroen C3 From New (march 200
I first reviewed my Citroen C3 from new (March 2005) when it had only done a few thousand miles. My 90 mile commute to work has now added up and have just gone past the 12k mark - It has not let me down once. This is my update on the car because I have seen quite few negative reviews of the car and to be honest have been almost bracing myself for something to go wrong. It hasn't yet and after such a lot of miles in it's young life I can truthfully say that it is still a very fine, good value, comfortable and stylish car. I still love it and can only say to anyone thinking about buying one that mine is brilliant! - Maybe I've just been lucky or maybe others have been unlucky - I don't know - all I can say is that I'd recommend the C3 to anyone.

I Purchased My Citroen C3 Xtr Automatic Sensor Dri
I purchased my Citroen C3 XTR Automatic Sensor Drive from Launch in March 2004 with a 3yr warranty! This beeing the first car I have purchased from New after driving an M plate Fiesta 1.6si for 5yrs. Unfortunately the mileage accummulated to 98,000miles. I commute and cover a 100mile round trip daily for my career. I decided to trade my fiesta in for the C3 on GREAT, 100% reliability recommendations from the Citroen sales Manager himself. I have also dealt with a few of my complaints with The Franchises Director's (SON)Sales Executive! To be told to STOP NAGGING IT'S TO BE EXPECTED OF A BRAND NEW CAR! The after sales service has been totally apaulling and astounding!
I suffer from severe chronic back/neck pain and feel that my car is un-safe and un-reliable to drive as faults occur un-predicted and without warning or notification!
Unfortunately I have the finance for another 4yrs approx £8,000 left to pay, therefore I feel I am stuck with this car!
After taking advice from Consumers Direct my car is in for MAJOR OVERHALL of electrics and a replacement Sun-roof! I have been given a courteous manual Nissan Micra with bumps and cracks which I had to point out to the servicing assisstant! A week has passed with no correspondence or up-date from dealers! I phoned them this morning to be told my car has been fixed Ha! Time will tell! They are now waiting on a second replacement Sun Roof as last one was Faulty! NO INDICATION AS TO WHEN I WILL GET MY CAR BACK!! NOT EVEN SURE IF I WANT IT BACK. FEEL I DON'T HAVE ANY CHOICE THOUGH! I Would not recommend the Dealer to my worst enemy let alone the C3 full stop!
