Oh My God......
had my Honda a month now and grin everytime I get in it, what a great car, not only looks great outside but its fantastic inside as well, 18" alloy wheels with low pro-tyres, all the gadgets you can wish for in a spaceship, BLUETOOTH , SAT NAV, all the tricks on the steering wheel, but best of all is the Re-Mapped engine throwing out 195 bhp, what a fantastic engine, never known poke like it, if you know what I mean. leather heated seats brilliant, forget rear window, massive rear view mirrors good, plus reversing side and rear sensors, what a dash, can go on and on, just buy one. seats are great, massive boot, just hearing that turbo spin is fantastic, gotta go for a drive now.........

Brilliant But Firm
ill start off with I've read some reviews and the negativity on rear visibility etc is in my opinion irrelevant. you purchase his car knowing these things so cant really complain! the cabin 10 years on still looks bang up to date, could obviously benefit from aux Bluetooth compatibility. this car is like marmite you either love or hate I! I am well an truly on the love side, but I would change the firmness of the suspension if I could! but just this as everything ese is gravy!

Well Done Honda
Anyone that gives this car a one or two star rating is obviously looking at spesifics and cant see the overall picture. This 2.2 engin is the real star of the show but one must admit there are some things like visibility and door handles and road handling that brings it down. The concept and thinking behind this vehicle overshadows all the negatives. A real pity many people will never see the bigger picture

Good Performance Engine And Good Reliability, Howe
Good performance engine and good reliability, However suffers for practicality. The major issue is the very poor visibility, you have very poor visibility out the back (no rear windscreen wiper doesn't help) and the side mirrors have very sizeable blind spots. Thankfully I don't have to shared my route with a lot of cyclists, although I have had a number of worrying close near misses with other vehicles. Minor additional irritation is that the driver seat does not lower, so if you are slightly above average height you will enter work with you hair vertical from static.

Sporty; I Have The Heated Leather Seat Option Whic
Sporty; I have the heated leather seat option which are nice in winter but not very comfortable after 30 min of driving. THe dashboard lights reflect in the windscreen at night. The only option is do dim them to the point they are turned off. Any idea of where the perimeter of the car is is pure guesswork. Makes parking and reversing a joy - NOT! I get 500 miles out of a tank (50lt) on a run and 350 around town. For some reason this car stays clean, must be something to do with the aerodynamics - I've hardly had to wash it since new. Interior Space is like the tardis - you can fit 3m lenghts of copper pipe with front passenger and rear seats down. The extra space where the spare tyre usesd to be is rubbish. It sounds good but its impractical to use. I have an emergency triangle and some de-icer in it and they just roll around in the well. Some hooks in the boot compartment would be nice for shopping bags (as in the avensis). LIghts are good at night. Why only one rear fog lamp? Would I but another one? probably not. My main gripe is the vibrations and the rattles. So-o-o-o-o much plastic. Mine has gone back for rattles in the headlining, the door, somewhere inside the dash (still not fixed) and now the perspex over the speedo has started to vibrate. Google 'civic' and 'rattles' before you think of buying one. Hope this helps.

Good Looking Inside And Out. Pleasant Place To Be
Good looking inside and out.
Pleasant place to be and comfortable/fun to drive.
Handling is good but not as good as a Golf. The engine makes up for any shortcomings - very powerful, smooth and responsive.
Storage space inside is also great and the boot is a good size. 6ft 2 adults have no problem in the back seat.

The Visibility Is Terrible Throughout The Car But
The visibility is terrible throughout the car but especially when reversing (the spoiler blocks the view!) 2 The seats are hard and have very little movement on the part that supports your back. 3 The dashboard illumination reflects in the windscreen when driving at night. 4 No rear wiper and the lower part of the window is not heated. 5 The ride is hard and bumpy.
The car is design over function and is dreadful to live with. Even the build quality is not the good.
I Really Like The Honda Civic 2.2 I-cdti Driving P
I really like the Honda Civic 2.2 i-CDTi driving position and the instruments. The engine is very flexible with all the power you need. The civic is like a dream, great performance, the ride and the extras. I also like the great engineering, its so well made. Having been an engineer I take my hat off to Honda, Well done
