We Wanted A Hyundai I20 Auto, So Had To Go For The
We wanted a Hyundai i20 auto, so had to go for the larger 1.4 engine, in the "Comfort" model, and so far we've been pleased. Sprightly performance, and very roomy in the front - surprisingly so for a "small" car - the shoulder and elbow room feels like it's a bigger vehicle.
After 7 months and 4k miles, we are getting good fuel economy for a 1.4 auto - it returns over 40mpg in mixed motoring. Nice audio, and very convenient to have the USB slot - saves you carting all those CDs around.
Any quibbles? Would have liked the option of cruise control, but this isn't available yet. The upholstery is slightly skinny, betraying its budget origins, and the throttle seems slightly sticky after 4k miles. Will raise it with our dealership when we have time, but thus far these are minor quibbles and we are pleased with this purchase.
