Peugeot 206 2.0 HDi 90 GLX

A truly awful little car.

Take it from someone who hasn't owned the car that long as that's saying something. Any good points the car has are easily things you can find on other makes i.e good looks and level of trim.

The good points are minimal, the bad points are huge.

The pedals are too close together and the footwell cramped.

The steering wheel doesn't adjust for reach so your arms are always stetched out and legs always bent.

The gearstick in any comfortable driving position is too far away from your natural reach.

the gearbox is awful. Slack and loose and every gearchange feels awkward.

The a-pillars are huge and at an angle that obscures vision at junctions and roundabouts. This also makes driving on windy country roads very irritating.

Constant rattles and squeeks will annoy and play on your mind everytime the car is driven and the cd player may or may not turn on automatically after the car is started.

I would never recommend a peugeot or a 206 to ANYONE and this will certainly be my last.

Just horrible and sucked any fun out of driving. I cannot wait to sell it.

The Peugeot 206 is a really fun car and so practical and roomy for such a little one. Feel really safe in it and I've whacked on a considerable amount of miles on it since I've had it and it runs superbly has always started first time never had to spend a lot of money on it. quite reasonable to insure and its a great workhorse.
