1994 623 Si
We have got this car in the family since 1994. It was my parents car and now mine. Green painted and with a beige leather interior, it still looks great. Now the car has 220000km, is more than 20 years old and never had any issue (except little things like lunatic power Windows). The car is really built to last and really above the quality standards in the 1990s. As Rover no longer exists, I hope to keep it 20 years more and drive a collector!

Great Car To Own
I have owned two 600s in the last 10 years. First the diesel and now the 623. Both have been reliable workhorses and great family cars. Exceptionally comfy and easy to drive, the 623 is tremendously smooth and powerful. The car is now 16 years old and has just a bit of rust on one wheel arch. The rest of the bodywork is fine. The interior is as new and very durable. All in all a pleasure to drive and own.

The Rover 623 Is A Very Under-rated Motor. All The
The Rover 623 is a very under-rated motor. All the Rover 600 range deserve more credit than they ever got. I have owned a 620i manual, and now have a 623SLi, auto. Don't really have anything bad to say about it! At 160bhp it is plenty quick enough and returns a healthy 35mpg on a reasonable run. It is a comfortable cruiser, though headroom is a little low for tall people. Air con would have been nice but in this country is seldom essential, and the turning circle is huge. These points aside this is a very nice motor and at the money they go for nowadays represent a huge bargain.
