Skoda Roomster 3 1.6 16V 105bhp

Having got totally fed up with the faults on my Meriva I resolved to find a similar vehicle with more reliability and hopefully better fuel consumption. I have now owned my Roomster for over 18 months and it ticks all of my boxes:

1. I can get large items in the back (even completely removing the rear seats if necessary)

2. It does well over 40 mpg driven sensibly, but still has enough oomph (0-60 in around 11 seconds).

3. It has been utterly reliable so far (Volkswagen engineering probably helps)

4. It goes round sharp bends luverly.

5. Servicing costs are low (1st service was just £80 including VAT at loacl dealer)

6. It's easy to work on.

7. Visibility all round is great.

My only complaint would be a wish for more comfortable seats but that is not a huge problem as I rarely do long journeys. The diesel version is supposed to be a bit better but I am not keen on diesels and do less than 12k per annum so it is not a big deal for me.
