I Part Exchanged My Bmw 330i Se, And Got A Vauxhal
I part exchanged my bmw 330i SE, and got a vauxhall vectra for only £5000. Times are hard, and i thought a cheaper car would help my finances. The cheaper turns out to be better on the motorway than my bmw, i couldn't believe it, its quieter, smoother, and much more comfortable. All my friends think i'm mad, but you know what, i actually understand why people buy the vectra, its is actually better than any car i ahve owned, maybe not as quick as some of the bmw's iv'e had, but that doesn't matter. When ever i communted to work in my bmw, i would get out with a twinge in back, and would have to wiggle my legs to recirculate the blood around legs, now i jump staraight out and get on with what ever i have to do. i am always refresehed after long journeys. Brilliant.

The Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 Sri Is Under Rated, Its A
The Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 SRi is under rated, its a shame it has been replaced, however the insignia which i will buy next week after getting rid of my peugeot 408, is better than some comparable BMW and mercedes and on par with the audi. anyone buying a higher priced car, in this category, is wasting money.

The Vauxhall Vectra Has Had Bad Reviews On Top Gea
The Vauxhall Vectra has had bad reviews on top gear, 5th gear and so on, so i didn't bother, last year the vectra was replaced by the isignia, so i got hold of a vectra 1.8 sri estate for a good price, from a vauxhall dealer. I would have paid a lot more, now i know what i have been missing out on. I have a company mondeo, which i had as an option over the vectra, but now i know i did the wrong thing. the car is very quiet, very comfortable, punchy when you want it be. it seems to pull through all the gears in low revs, although i wouldn't claim that the 1.8 engine is sporty in low revs. the handling is sublime, flat around the corners and roundabouts, and very responsive steering. you feel like your driving and not the computers. it is a shame that this car, now it has been bulied into perfection, it has to go.

Vectra 1.8 Sri. I Have Had This Car For 3 Years No
Vectra 1.8 sri. I have had this car for 3 years now and enjoy driving it. I find that the ride is smooth enough without too much noise, the boot offers plenty of space and is easily accessible.
I don't like the headlights, they have been checked and are ok but are so dull and as I often drive on country roads I can struggle in winter to see much of the road ahead. I also hate to drive this car in the snow or ice or slush or hail! It is awful, the tyres just can't grip the roads at all and it gets stuck on slight inclines when it hails which can be rather embarrasing, and no it's not just my driving it just wheel spins over nothing.
Overall I do like this car in summer, the fuel economy is not the best, but what do I expect with a 1.8 pertrol. Whilst liking it I would swap it in an instant for the diesel corsa or astra which having both in family handle better and give far better mpg and drive well in snow and ice.
never thought about changing your tyres

After Having My Driving Licence For Two Years I De
After Having my Driving licence for two years I decided it was about time to come off my mums insurance and buy my own car! Lol
So I ended up getting the 2008 Vauxhall Vectra 16valve 140bhp and TBH after driving endless cars & 4x4 vehicles through my work I find this car to be one of the best in terms of valu for money and performance especially on the long haul motorway drives.
The ride comfort when travelling at speed is second to non and the engine is quite responsive especially when accelerating above 75mph plus.
Top speed for this car is 130 odd mph and although it has a 0-60 of 10seconds its still quite quick off the mark if you use the gearbox well.
Overall the space inside is very impressive and the car comes complete with a murderers boot! The down side to this and my only niggle is when it comes to parking the car is longer and wider than most town centre parking bays and can be a nightmare to park in those on street parking bays.

I Brought A Vauxhall Vectra Estate For The Load Sp
i brought a vauxhall vectra estate for the load space, its a 07 1.8 16v vvt sri, yes people slag tem off i know. but if you know how to work a gear box you can get these cars moving, yes they are a bit flat on pull away, but hold it in the gears and it will shift, and the engines are very hardy and laps it up, thats wot these engines were made for. i push mine to 6rpm all the time.vauxhall mechanics tell me its not even testing it! so dont knock this car till you try it...

I A 58 Plated 1.8 Sri Estate On Loan For A Couple
I a 58 plated 1.8 SRi estate on loan for a couple of weeks whilst my car's rear end was being repaired after a modest rear end shunt. To be honest, it didn't impress me at all. I couldn't get a comfortable driving position, the steering response is all non-linear with a very artificial feel.I dug through the handbook and allegedly the 1.8 16 valve engine develops 140bhp. To me it felt more like 70. Spineless is how I'd describe the performance. In an effort to get something out of it I would up averaging 24.6mpg!Clearly not the car for me, but that's not to say others won't find it appealing. They're certainly availbale with ridiculous dealer discounts.
