Was The Best And Most Fun Car I Have Ever Driven.

Was the best and most fun car I have ever driven. On a most roads point-to-point it was the fastest thing about, made cars 2, 3 or even 4 times its cost look bad.

And when you wanted to you could also go shopping, and use it like any normal Focus.

Superb

Handling Is Out Of This World For A Car Of This Pr

Handling is out of this world for a car of this price range.

Spec in some areas is basic but that is a play off against the spec of the bits you need for a good driving experience, brakes, suspension, quaife diff and ap clutch to put the 212 down to the steering wheels.

Once you learn to predict the torque steer and use its ability to pull out of corners its a dream. I just wish they weren't all the same colour!

The Ford Focus RS 2.0 Turbo is fantastic. It's very stable and brilliant around corners. It goes like a bullet and gets many looks when driving around. The whistle from the wastegate is great to hear with the windows down also ;)

I Am A Happy Owner Of A Ford Focus Rs For At Least

I am a happy owner of a Ford Focus RS for at least 5 1/2 years. Clock is showing 220.000 Km! This car was bought for every day use and making trips (business or pleasure) of course. Not in the dry nor in the wet has this car ever failed me. It's the absolute driving machine by all means with no electronic gismos which spoil your day. Brings a smile on your face every time you go for a "ride"! For all Ford focus RS owners a special tip: This car has actually a water temperature gauge and not only. Let me explain myself. Before starting the car, push button on your rev. dial consecutively and then turn key to open electrics. Don't let go button until you see in your little screen below the rev. dial showing "test". Release your finger from button and you will see the word "gauge". That's it my friends you have now enter engine's sensor program. Continue pushing button and you will see different sensing parameters. "Bulb" checks if all bulbs on your dials work correctly, push again and another parameter will appear (some of them you can not actually understand), keep pushing and you also see: miles/h, km/h, revs of engine, temperature/Fahrenheit, temperature/Celsius and some more...not understandable. Only bad point of the above, you have to do this every time you start your car as it can not keep the parameter you left the last time you did it.

Amazing Car. When Driven Fast You Can See It All C

Amazing car. When driven fast you can see it all come togeather, and you can see it was bred from the rally scene. Seats are nice too. 10 out of 10 in my eyes.

I've Owned Impreza's And Evo's For The Last Few Ye

I've owned Impreza's and Evo's for the last few years, and I was blown away by what the Ford Focus RS could do! It's just a shame it's not 4 wheel drive, as it's too powerful in the wet, and lots of power is wasted.

I Have Owned Every Late Hot Hatch And The Focus Wi

I have owned every late hot hatch and the focus wins on acceleration but only if you have the best tyres to keep that torque steer at bay. The V6 clio would win otherwise. As for handling the Focus is the safe bet over the type R due to the V-tec rev limit on the Honda which is worse than turbo lag for exiting corners, the Focus is a dream in dry conditions just like on the game project gothem 2. Golf R32 would kick the focus to the side if there was any sight of rain (4x4) apart from that i would say the focus is king. R32 has more torque and pull at 110mph onwards same as the Clio but that body kit on the Clio lifts the car at around 130mph which gets scary. So i would say Focus Rs wins all round except in the wet, R32 for wet conditions and to let your girlfriend drive, V6 clio if you want to kill yourself and have every kid hanging outside Mcdonalds taking photos of you, Type R if you can't drive and need help (If you crash one of these you are a loser, girls car) I'm not even going to mention the mini supercharge, yawn.

Rs focus can be played with too due to it having a turbo. If you have it blue chipped and miliecki exhaust it will give you 270bhp but you will have to get diff bushes on the front wish bones to sort out the torque steer. Anyone that reads this who has a Rs can you recommend the best tyres for this car. thanks

If You Like Your Sporty Cars, With Plenty Of Bhp,

If you like your sporty cars, with plenty of BHP, lovely handling, a car that you'll never want to stop driving, then the Ford Focus RS is a must!!!

I've never regretted buying my RS, best thing I've ever done!!!

I've been looking for a car as good as this for a long time. You'll get other motors which are enjoyable driving cars, but this has the whole package, especially with Recaro seat, 18 alloys, push button as std!!

Anyone Looking To Purchase A Focus Rs, Then Go For

Anyone looking to purchase a Focus RS, then go for it as you wont be disappointed.

Handles excellent and accelerates quickly.

The inside is good, however it is quite basic than it could have been.

No temperature gauge or heated windscreen, but dont let this put you off.

Ford actually lost money making these cars, so they are very good value for money.

I Bought My Ford Focus Car In Oct 2000 After Readi

I bought my Ford Focus car in Oct 2000 after reading as many reviews as I could about the cars in it's class. And I personally believe that ford paid off the reviewers. My car has been in the shop 20 times in the 18 months I have owned it. Almost always for the same problems. They frequently take me for test drives and then say "man that's obvious, it will be no problem to fix ". Later when I pick up my car I get "unable to duplicate concern." Personally if you're going to buy this car you are taking your chances, because if something goes wrong the service dept will not be able to repair it.
