The Pontiac Sunfire 2000 2.4 is quick off the line with the automatic, next time I will go with the stick. Needs a sunroof but other than that its a great car for the money. Put your 12 pack and ice to keep it cold in the glove box.
Great car, would recommend to anyone.

The Pontiac Sunfire 2000 2.4 from General Motors is a good choice.
They are fast. It is a lot faster than my 1988 mr2. Pretty awesome in a 4 door sedan. My 2000 Sunfire se 2.4 feels like a v8 under the hood. I love this car!
You know my 72 240z has the same size engine with only one cam and it has 150 hp just like the pontiac 2.4, Now why is it that 30 years isn't long enough for pontiac to make a powerful engine. Seriously though how can you call this thing fast. Is your other car a 2 ton caddy running on two cylinders. When is pontiac going to step up to the plate and produce 4 and 6 cyclinder engines?.
