Nissan 100 NX 1.6 NX

super car and value for money not the fastest or best but fun car.

I owned a 1995 N reg 100NX special edition in pacific blue. ive owned 7 cars so far (about to buy number 8) and driven numerous more and this was by far the best car ive ever owned or driven. the performance was brilliant; 0-60 in under 10 seconds thanks to a few VERY minor modifications such as air filter etc, not bad from a (at the time) 14year old car. the looks are very marmite, you either love them or hate them, i personally loved them and it can never be accused of being subtle or boring. myn was nicknamed the "spacebus" as people had no idea what it was due to the fact they are rare as rocking horse number 2's. with the roof off in the summer it was brilliant, little wind noise at speed (i tried-quick down the motorway) and no annoying noise when roof on as with soft tops. the rear seats are a bit cramped but i did once manage to get 5 people in the car! most reliable car i ever owned never let me down even on coldest of days started first time every time. i would literally give my left leg to own the same one again so if anyone sees one with number plate N956NNW please comment! i want it back! anyone looking for something different but stress free which will never fail to put a smile on your face this is the car for you.

love my 100nx but it has its problems.

1.. the brakes are rubbish when hit hard at speed, they lock.

2.. oil leak - can be resolved with Wynn's stop leak addictive.

3.. most 100nx have this problem, the boot lid doesn't stay up.

4.. space at the back is almost none. you can get a person in the back if

you fold them in half. but who cares about the passengers anyway!!!!

5.. finding parts, not easy, not cheap.

awesome performance for a 1.6, spent a bit upgrading the ignition system, air filter and braking and now my mates in their 318i and golf's and astra's eat my dust. (but don't push the car beyond its limits, this is from experience)

servicing is very cheap and with a Haynes manual you can do it yourself in 30mins

it doesn't matter what the weather is outside or how hard you drive her, she always starts and gets you from A to B.

cousins 09 Audi S3, mates BMW M3, BMW 318i have more problems and spend more time in the garage then my 17year 100nx

not alot of people know what the car is. so when the see it, the music is banging and the roof is off. heads turn

the most fun ive had in any car

Have owned my Nissan 100NX from new, had it serviced regularly and only needed minor repairs due to normal wear.Spent less than 2,000 pounds sterling on repairs over 16 years. Very good value for a reliable, economic, sporty car. Have driven 190,000 kilometers on motorways and rough mountain roads with no problems. Would like the seats to be more comfortable. I can't fault it. The design, quality of paintwork, shape of car, it stands out and looks good on the road, even though I live in a country where temperatures rise over 42c during the long hot summer months. Would recommend it to a young at heart person.

the best car i ever had really it's great, i just will ask for help my car in lebanon and the parts it's not always available specially accesories and air-condition , i just want to quot the full aircondition for 100 nx 1.6 carburator manual transmition

The Nissan 100 NX 1.6 NX is an amazing car only ever had one problem being the boot doesn't stay up which is a problem with every 100nx amassing car. Keeps up with any new 1.6 car and is extremely reliable.

shamefully may have to sell soon due to recession

The Nissan 100 NX 1.6 NX is a beutiful car to drive as well as look at and also it is so comfortable even on long journeys as i drive from guildford to barcelona every year and i love this car it is definately the best car i have ever had. So far i have had no problems with this car.

I own the 1.6L version.

It ' s a great car inside and out. It ' s known to be called a baby skyline and it ' s got the performance on a budget which u can afford.

I have one my self and would say to some one if you want a sports car on budget and good performance then this is the car for you.

if you want a car that turns more heads than a 40 grand merc, starts first time, every time and that you can pick up for the cost of a half decent mondeo, buy a 100nx!!!! no competition!

I love this car. The Body kit coming from Germany should arrive soon so I am looking forward to giving the car it's face lift. With a new paint job to match, it's really going to be a smashing car(well I hope so) :) if there is anyone else that's looking for a hot hat with a convertible feel I would definitely endorse this as a great affordable option.
