Ive Only Had My Car For A Couple Of Months But Wha
ive only had my car for a couple of months but what a couple of months!!
ive got the 106 gti 120 bhp engine, half leather interior, in indigo (rallye) blue with white rallye steels..the previous owner had work done on the car, he had cams, the head skimmed, full exhaust and induction kit..and this car goes like stink..it hits 5000rpm and you got a kick up the backside and the cars off!
ive recently taken rear interior out and all the sound deadening..just to lower the power to weight ratio abit more..(it only weighs around 900kg anyway!!)
My gti will easily return about 400 miles on the motorway and about 300 round towns, which is amazing for a car that was built to be a top of the range sports model!
the interior is to my liking but others may find it boring if theyve had more modern cars before, but its so lightweight it just helps get the power to the wheels.
ive not had any problems with the car as of yet, and know a few contacts so getting parts wont be a problem, peugeot have always been ok with me in the past.
gti's can be picked up dirt cheap now..i bought mine for £1600, it had 110,000 miles on the clock but had a full engine rebuild..find one like this and you wont be disappointed :-D

I Bought My Peugeot 106 Gti Just Under A Year Ago.
I bought my Peugeot 106 GTi just under a year ago. At the time I thought I had a pretty good deal on it. Its 2002, had 63000 miles, reasonably good service history and was completely standard except for being lowered 60 all round for £2500. Since then I have had to replace the coil pack, get cam belt changed, and replace the whole rear axel and quite a few smaller problems. But I honestly believe it is worth every penny I have spent on it. My boyfriend has had a lot of small fast cars (Clio 172, starlet gt turbo etc) and my GTi never fails to put a smile on his face and it surprises many people with how fast it is and the way it handles. The GTi will beat most cars on the handling front as it sticks to the road amazingly. The car never fails to excite me when I get in it and I often take the long ways home. For such a small car it feels quite sturdy unlike the quicksilver I had before. I would recommend a GTi to anyway if you ' re looking for a very fun small car which won ' t break the bank. I recently took mine to Santa pod and managed to beat a 2.5 v6 Calibra on the 1/4 mile which surprised a lot of people. Nothing can beat the fast French cars!

Have Had My Peugeot 106 For Three Years Now. Looke
Have had my Peugeot 106 for three years now. Looked for it for two years and eventually found a one lady owner car run on modil one all it,s life. Paid about a grand too much but it has been a gem.
Have had puma 1.7 ,106 xsi 306 gti but this one i have kept as i can't find another car that makes you want to take the long way home.
I wanted one of these cars for ages and kept convincing myself to get the sensible option.
Well if you want one get one you won't regret it. The best car i have owned from a pure fun point of view.
Another great point is they are quite rare now. I have never passed another car the same as mine and people are always interested in them.
To be honest i don't think you can use much more performance cross country,so go out and play with the porche's and catch the look on their faces when your still glued to their bumper ten miles down the road, even better at night.
Don't believe then miss out.
Have fun you lucky few..

Buy One. They Are Very Reasonably Priced 2nd Hand
Buy one. They are very reasonably priced 2nd hand models out there! Very powerful car, rapid acceleration and can climb to high speeds with a few small, cheap tweeks. Leather interior is mint.

I Got A S-reg Peugeot 106 Gti Miami Blue Lowered B
I got a s-reg Peugeot 106 GTi Miami blue lowered bmc air filter strait through exhaust rage and it blows everything, blows my mates Peugeot 106 gti and that ' s had everything done to it and a Peugeot 306 gti cant touch me on pick up and top end my 106 goes of the clock at low revs honestly its an animal ever1 says its 2 quick must be a s16 it even blows a focus rs 380bhp.
They were made in China blue, Indigo blue, Moonstone blue, Cobalt blue, Mauritius Blue but definitely not Miami Blue.
i love my 106 gti but your talking gash, i know your type. if you owned that rs you would obviously claim that to be faster.
A 106 BLOWS AWAY A FOCUS RS 380BHP? LMAO YEAH OK THEN.. DREAMER. REDICULOUS. I GUESS IT WOULD BLOW AWAY A RS WHEN THE RS WASNT RACING YOU DOING ABOUT 80MPH.

My Peugeot 106 Gti Is The Supercharged Version Of
My Peugeot 106 GTi is the Supercharged version of the 1.6 but I replaced the 16v with 24v instead and what a difference! Even when the car was 16v it was powerful and acceleration flatspots were almost non- existent, but with the addition of a few little extras, the engine was turned from a 'nippy' runner, to a full on 'beast'. The standard vented brakes and callipers cope well with the normal engine power, but when modifying the car, it is essential the brakes are upgraded....... going faster, need to stop faster. This is, in my opinion, THE car of the nineties.
