Unfotunately It Leaks

I love my 206 convertable but over the last 6 wks it's leaking over drivers window. peugeot don't sell thr rubber seal for just over the window. You have to buy the seal for the whole car. When the car is worth less than £3000 it really seems stupid spending almost £500 on getting it fixed. Anyone any ideas for fixing leak. my car's only done 43,000 & is in otherwisr fantastic condition.

Fun In The Summer, Not So Good In Winter

I've had my peugeot 206 cc for 3 years now. In the summer its great to have the roof down and I do love how it looks inside and out, however there are a few issues.

In the time I've had it the roof hydraulics have broken twice. Leaving me to put it up manually and having fluid leaking everywhere. Luckily the first time it was under warranty and today its just happened again, no idea how much its going to cost.

The cabin is quite noisy, especially over bumps with creaking, I suppose thats to be expected as the roof is not a solid stucture, but it can get a bit annoying.

The worst thing is when it rains. If you open the window the rain runs down the gully where the roof meets the windscreen and runs srtaight down inside the car and down the door. It can be quite a torrent. Apparently its a design fault, my mechanic told me.

And need to have the air con regassed now as doesn't seem to work but then I suppose thats par for the course too.

I also have an isse wipers. When they go 1 way they clear the screen but when they come back they leave drag marks, which can reduce visibility especially in heavy rain. Have tried new wipers and taking it to the Peugeot garage to get it sorted but they have never been able to resolve it.

Strangely I do still love it though. Its nice to drive, has power, and is comfortable(if you're in the front obviously).

Makes Everyone Smile

We had two big family cars - Scenics - and one mad weekend I sold the older scenic and bought this 04 plate 206cc. It's a long time since I've had so much fun in a car. Not a fast car, not a throaty engine, but just a huge feelgood factor driving in the sunshine. Great for touring country roads and feeling you can breathe in the fresh air and see so much of the scenery. Decent equipment inside - all round radio/cd, usual range of measurments on digital display, funky bottle carrier hidden between rear seats. Accelerates well and with oomph with roof up...more sluggish with roof down. All in all, happy so far and if I get a year out of it before selling again I'll be content.

I Bought A 206cc Last Year And Had Problems With I

I bought a 206cc last year and had problems with it from a week after i bought it.Front springs went and 5 weeks after buying it the catalytic converter went.I place most of the blame on the dealer who sold me the car because they basically palmed me off with every problem i had.I involved Trading Standards and the garage agreed to take the car back and i got a refund.

I have wanted one of these cars since they were first manufactured so i felt a bit let down however a year down the line and i have just bought another one and i love it to bits.Heres hoping i have years of trouble free driving.

I Got My Peugeot 206 Cc In 2007. My Car Has Been

I got my Peugeot 206 cc in 2007. My car has been more broken than fixed!!! Every other week I have to take her to a mechanic for something new or an old problem. I've tried taking it up with Peugeot SA With no response... I'm thinking of taking legal action because the cost involving all the fixing is more than the car cost. Oh yeah by the way the car was bought "brand new" "Out of the box". Brand new my ass!!!

I Bought My Little Peugeot 206cc Quiksilver Specia

I bought my little Peugeot 206CC Quiksilver special edition brand new back in June 2004 and still love this car as much as the first day I brought it home. It has been reliable and fun to drive and definitely a headturner in the sunshine! We drove to the Dordogne a few years ago with two teenagers in the back and purchased a luggage rack which sits on the boot to allow us to put the roof down in sunshine. I have done almost 70,000 miles in her (Female as very reliable!) and so far have not had any mechancial problems. The roof system was replaced whilst under warranty as it jammed open and I had to close it manually (2 person job though!). But I have never had any leaks and it has all worked fine since the replacement was fitted.

I Have Had My 206 Cc For 6 Weeks And It Has Broken

I have had my 206 cc for 6 weeks and it has broken down 3 times! Each time I have taken it to a garage they can't find anything wrong! I love the look of the car but the engine seems to overheat when stuck in traffic which causes the engine to fail and then not start for 2 hours. Not great when stuck on a busy roundabout! I wanted this car for ages but it has given me nothing but trouble since I've had it. Only been able to drive it 3 out of 6 weeks since I've had it!

Love My Kiki (black And Red 206cc 1.6), And I'm St

Love my Kiki (Black and Red 206cc 1.6), and I'm still smiling after all these years - wouldn't want to part with her.

Problems:

1. Makes a dreadful noise when wet, loud high pitch squeal from under the bonnet - been like this for years!

2. Roof leaks - back nearside window.

3. Have some corrosion on paint work; the paint on the offside back window is bubbling. Which seems strange - as I knocked her some years ago and this hasn't even rusted yet?

4. Not able to replace the foot well carpets with the black and red 206 logo - this seems a shame.

5. Seats slide when you least expect!

This Is A Car I Have Wanted For About 2 Years. Fin

This is a car I have wanted for about 2 years. Finally brought a 2.0 Allure now the kids are getting older and don't come anywhere with me!! :)

Haven't had any problems with the car so far. Yes the cabin is noisy but thats to be expected.

This car is a dream to own and I haven't stopped smiling since buying it.

It is also a headturner especially when the roof is down!

I now love the 52 mile round trip to work everyday as I love the car so much.

Had My '54 Plate For 2 Months Now, Absolutely Love

Had my '54 plate for 2 months now, absolutely love it. No problems so far...touch wood !! Handles great, no leaks, drives like a dream and its great to put the roof down on a sunny day !! I must love it, I wash it every weekend and I've never done that to any car lol !! Boot space is limited when you have got the roof down though, but not a problem, throw the shopping on the back seats. No complaints about the seat space in the back, I knew what I was buying so don't know how anyone can complain when its obvious the space is limited. Will be keeping my a very long time with any luck...

Why does my 206 only do approx. 20mpg on urban/ some country driving, when several garages and reviewers have said it does 30mpg on urban driving. Have I got a problem with it? Reg. year 2007
