This Toyota Is My First Car And My First Love, A G
This Toyota is my first car and my first love, a great intro to fast cars, high revving 16 valve engine gave plenty performance and ultra reliable, reasonable running costs, and standard suspension the car would not go round bends very well at all, had a quite a few scary moments due to body roll which in turned to fishtailing. A decent setup would cure this though. A future classic and will always hold a place in my heart, if you come across a good one, snap it up.

The Toyota Corolla Still Looks Well Cool, Consider
The Toyota Corolla still looks well cool, considering its age. Never dissapoints and always puts a smile on your face. Come on 8000 rpm fun for under a grand, and the interiors are just top notch and easy to work on yourself, even someone with the most bassic knowlege.

Overall Its Not A Bad Car But I Would Rather Have
Overall its not a bad car but i would rather have golf gti mk2 or mk1 over the corolla gti as they are much more solid and engines are bullet proof unlike the corolla gti. Were the best back in the days but not now - too many rust boxes around.

Very fast (wheel spins in third), surprisingly practical, legendary engine and also high revving and is solid and reliable, surprisingly comfortable, packed full of gadgets for its age (electric mirrors, windows, sunroof etc) and I just love the sharp clutch and fast shifting gearbox. I recommend one now to anyone except for a first time driver as they would be flying through hedges and fields and also boy racers ruin them with Lexus lights and rubbish like that.
I recommend this car to enthusiasts or people who look after them. wax oil the chassis as soon as you get one or even better galvanise it. then it should last you for life.

Wot A Fast Car. The Toyota Corolla Gti Is Still Th
Wot a fast car. The Toyota Corolla Gti is still the best selling Hot hatch after Golf Gti but it will kill the Golf in every way. The Gti-16V is a hot hatch to be remembered and they hold their value, unlike NOVA's they NASTY. My Corolla is black has got 19" RSS Kahns on it, a full subaru impreza front (bonnet, bumber vents etc), flush tailgate, chipped, then superchipped, induction kit, full twin DTM exhaust, rear Escort cosworth bumper, cream leather interior,....etc
Overall 0-100 = 14.2 seconds (approx)
with a top speed of 135MPH (approx)
The GTi is a great car but to my mind not as good as its predecessor the GT Coupe (also called the Levin and the Sprinter in other countries). Same engine and probably slightly better performance due to it being a bit lighter plus all the joys of RWD. Sadly I sold mine rather than leave her in mothballs (she'd have been the perfect track day car or drift car) and not only would she have held her value (like the newer FWD GTi's) but she's now worth between 6 and 8 times what I sold her for!!!
Beat the golf gti 16v? No way! if its the mk2 you're definately wrong, dude!
I've got a gti-16v which has done 157k on the clock!! and it kills golf gti mk3 and 4's and most new cars out there!! No lie I've reached 140mph in mine... Which was pretty scary!! They maybe old but there the best!
IVE LEFT MANY CARS IN MY COROLLA GTI I ONCE LEFT A GUY IN A SIVER 1.4 CIVIC SPORT I LOOKED BACK AND HE HAD AN BUM ON HIS FACE
I DONT KNOW WHICH GOLF YOU MEAN, MUST HAVE BEEN A GOLF GL.
BECAUSE GOLF GTI 16V AND 8V WILL SIMPLY KICK A COROLLA GTI, I SHOULD KNOW, I RACED 2 MANY

What A Car The Toyota Corolla Gti-16 Is! I Had One
what a car the Toyota Corolla Gti-16 is! I had one of these after a peugeot 205 gti and it killed it in every way. Comfortable, smooth drive, fast as you could wish from a hot hatch (would ease past golfs, 205's, astra gte's etc). handling was great once it had been lowered 40mm and 15's fitted. Inside the seats are superb and the dash layout puts other cars to shame. Outside the car is not the prettiest, but by removing all stickers and lowering it, plus tinting the windows, the car looks the part. I would recommend a full s/s system and JR induction kit, coupled with a fensport chip - then you've got a car with a 16 sec quarter time - not bad for a 1600cc N/A!
I loved my Corolla GTi the drive is second to none at it handled so well I could get it sideways on any corner(front wheel drive) I didn't notice a flat spot and wouldnt change into third until id hit 60 in second. It had no mods no induction kit and often done 130mph standard, beat other corolla GTi's with plenty of mods. Sometimes if your real luck you just get a fast one. Still the best fun car I've ever had so under rated its untrue. If you've ever had one you already know!!
The gearing wont allow the car to do more than 135 - thats at around 7500rpm. I've done it downhill awwwwwwww never mind.
Im from leicestershire which is were I got it from. It does 45 in 1st, 75 in 2nd, 115 in 3rd and I got up to 135 in 4th but then ran out of road. Its all black top 2 bottom.
The guy who brought his twin cam for 120 pounds where are you from? And what colour is your car? And how fast is it truthfully??
I got my corolla for £120 quid - it had 15in alloys and a full janspeed ex. It's an evil car which hates going slow.
