drives well looks well I have had black leather seats with red pippin fitted. red seat belts with love hearts on them coz I am a girlie. changed the front lights with black back ground with chrome rim round the lights fittet grey lights for the rare looks stunning had strip lights fitted under the fog lights put a chrome grill on the front. chrome head bars put a sports back box on to give it a little raw and of course if people can not hear me coming ive added a sub under the seats to go with the bose sound

Vauxhall Astra Convertible 1.8 easily converts into open top convertible, mechanism great. 1.8 is smooth, fairly good on petrol. Black SafIre extremely good looking. (Also terrific in red). No\complicated buttons on dash. Hard top convertible is the best way to have a convertible. Aircon in a convertible have never had to use in summer time because of the beauty factor of having the roof down. Electronics very good breaking superb. Wicked fast seat warming in winter on leather seats.

The key to convert your car if you wish to do it this way is hard to hold down ie for a female it hurts your finger. I always use the button on the roof of the car instead

Best car I have ever had, do not intend to change it for a long time as it is looked after by its owner. Would recommend to anyone.

The Vauxhall Astra Convertible 1.8 has and easy down hood (the windbreak is a must) and the sound system is great. To be honest I love this car! People criticise Vauxhall but has been an excellent car and really fun.

I cannot honestly say there are any bad points for me, though wish I had a 1.8 instead of 1.6! Gear box could be smoother, but hey it's a sporty car.

The best car that I have owned, the Vauxhall Astra Convertible provides a sports car image with the practicality of a family hatchback. The electric hood is easy to operate both in and out of the car and the performance is great. The only thing that lets the Astra down is its badge and its bland but functional interior.
