Volkswagen Lupo Gti

I have always wanted one of these, when I found one locally I had to have it. You have got to pay to get a good one tho.

I knew they were special but it was only when I started driving it I found out how much effort vw had put in to this tiny car to make it so nice to drive.

All all things I was not aware of until I started using the car.

After owning a sorted mk2 golf I was not happy with the back end of the car handling wise. I added a white line ARB and transformed the car.

The only bad points for me are the fact they are not cheap to buy ( and seem to be going up and up in value ) not bad if you have one, but if your reading this I guess you haven't!!

And the fact they are easily written off as things like the bonnet are no longer made so any kind of front end bang is usually game over.

I'm the only one who uses the car to get to work and we have a large family car so the size of the car has NEVER caused me any issues.

I changed my interior to mk4 golf seats as they are much more supportive. Six speed box is awesome and this car is not mega fast, however keeping up with much larger more costly cars is fun.

I will never sell mine as I plan on keeping and fully restoring it.

Find the money, buy one ,love driving it and possibly earn money when you sell it!!!

The Volkswagen Lupo Gti is a lovely little car! I'm never selling her!

I got my Volkswagen Lupo Gti after I sadly wrote off my Mini Cooper in a accident.

I didn't think many cars would compare to the Mini's handling. The Lupo GTI is a quick well handled car! It's amazing the acceleration this little car gives out. Packing 130bhp and weighing hardly anything this car really is a fast small car that will give most cars twice its size a good run for their money.

The car at first hurt my back a bit - I'm a tall driver at 6ft 2. But this was soon sorted when I adjusted the seat. The car does not have as much room in the front as the Mini and I got. To be honest and say the Mini was more comfortable to drive.

My main point with the Lupo in the vs Mini battle in my opinion the Mini is a better car but the Lupo is a amazing car for a 2nd place. I might be because I love the Minis. But I felt more secure in my Mini as it was a lot bigger.

Back to the Lupo:

Another strong point with the Lupo is the sleek, 6 speed gearbox (I believe on earlier models you got a 5 speed - I'm not sure). The gears are sleek and changes are made easy with a sporty feel. The Lupo is quite a noisy little car, not so much that its annoying on motorways, but enough to make boy racers look around when you whizz past. With a natural induction noise the Lupo really feels the hot hatch car it is meant to be.

Generally, the Lupo is a great hot hatch super small and super quick!

What more could you want from a car of this type?

I have seen the Volkswagen Lupo Gti reviews and being from Wales I thought I would write about my Lupo. The car is a corner killing machine there is not a corner this car cannot get around with speed. I love it I advise anybody thinking about buying one to do it

This is a truly awsome car, I only bought mine a week and i'm in love! I live in wales and the performance of this car is second to none, taking corners on these twisty roads is effortless for this little beast and the acceleration coming out of the even better definatly one of the best VW have produced.

The Volkswagen Lupo Gti is by far in the top 5 hot hatches of all time this really is a quick car, plus you don't see that meany of them so people are always WOW what is that car!!!!!

Went to Wales last weekend for the fist time i had the chance to check the lupo GTI out on twisty roads had so much fun i didn't won't to get to wales the Lupo just erges you on to be as naughty as you won't, the tourque in the engine means that around town you can you can poodle around in 4th gear at 10 mph engine, sound is also fantastic above 3000rpms.

Move aside the Saxo VTS i've got a beutiful interior leather seats and a cracking stereo plus i just passed you !!!!

Lupo GTI will defantley damage your relationship with your women as you will always be in wales!!!!
