Autosleeper Harmony

I have had my Autosleeper Harmony (based on Talbot Express Chassis) over 2 years and am the 3rd owner.

It is the diesel engined variety with manual gearbox (5)

19 years old and 76000 miles (still lots of grunt to get us up those steep passes in Cumbria and Wales. I am getting circa 35 - 40 MPG and I tow a small trailer with my inflatable sailing boat and all my sailing gear so, 60 mph is tops when the trailer is on the hook.

Gas water heater does not work (this is a typical problem with the "Carver" water heaters buy, hey-ho, no trouble to put the kettle on is it?

Overall, in my opinion, it is one of the best laid out van conversions that I have ever seen - I can go anywhere in it and be very comfortable.

10 out of 10 to Autosleeper.

A Great Versatile Easy To Drive Camper Ready To Go Anywhere

Now on our second one on Puegeot 2L van which is well equiped with PAS, drives like a car with splendid views. good shower etc and 4 full seat belts. Its our 2nd one and better than the original Talbot which was a treasure but not so easy to drive. (We fitted an autoclutch to talbot) Both petrol which makes for a willing engine with a good gearbox. Economy is acceptable. IT's a good self contained day van that, height apart, can be parked like a car. Mains electric good on site and gas gives independence to explore off the beaten track. Easy to prepare meals and reliable fridge water & loo etc. Easy for 2 singles with loo accessible when beds up, slightly more work involved for setting up double bed.

Our First Motorhome, Always Wanted One But Could N

Our first Motorhome, always wanted one but could never justify the expense, I was offered an A/S Harmony for a good price and bought it. Has been reliable so far used it mainly for days out and odd nights. The water heater does not work and can be quite expensive to replace £150 on Ebay. But had great fun, introduced us to motorhoming and love it. We have a 2ltr Petrol version, don't expect a Racing Car and economy not that good, probably better on longer runs and as said before wish it had powe steering. All in all pleased with it and would recommend.

Owned It For Last 6 Years. Great For Weekends And

Owned it for last 6 years. Great for weekends and weeks away at the cosat. For just 2 of us and a dog is fantastic as we are totally self contained with shower and toilet for wild camping. Nice to drive, reliable and good build finish for a van that is knocking on in years now (H Reg with 78,000 miles).

Love it to bits and will be using it this weekend.....

I Have Had My Talbot Auto-sleeper For Over A Year

I have had my Talbot auto-sleeper for over a year now and would highly recommend. The vehicle is over 18years old and all is in excellent condition inside and out, and mileage of only 50k. The van is petrol and I get between 25 to 30 to the gallon, this I find not a problem when you consider all what comes on board. PS the van I have has power steering have a good look round for one this is a luxury I would recommend.

The Autosleeper Harmony Is Good Value As A Starter

The Autosleeper Harmony is good value as a starter van. Reliable - we've had ours for about 4 years and had very few problems.

Excellent Starter Home For Weekends Or Longer Brea

Excellent starter home for weekends or longer breaks and the Autosleeper Harmony 1.9L Diesel gives 30+ mpg with reasonable pace. Interior soft furnishings wear very well and our 13 year old van has no tears, rips or wear showing.
