I Recently Purchsed A Venturea Atlantic Awning 900
I RECENTLY PURCHSED A VENTUREA ATLANTIC AWNING 900CMS WITH FIBRE FRAME.
AS A PREVIOUS OWNER OF AN ISABELLA AWNING I WAS HOPEFUL THAT AS BOTH ISABELLA AND VENTURA ARE MANUFACTURED BY THE SAME PARENT FAMILY THAT THERE WOULD BE SOME SIMALARITIES ALBEIT WITH LESSER QUALITY MATERIALS BUT OVER ALL THAT APART FORM PROBABLY NOT LASTING AS WELL THAT THE VENTURA WOULD BE A GOOD CHOICE.
THE JURY IS STILL OUT!
NO MATTER WHAT I DID I COULD NOT GET THE ROOF PANEL TAUGHT ENOUGH TO LOOSE THE EXCESS MATERIAL AND WRINKLES OUT.VARIOUSEMAILS TO AND FRO FROM ISABELLA/VENTURA, SUBMITTED PHOTOS AS REQUESTED OVER A MONTH OR MORE BEFORE THEY AGREED TO COLLECT IT AND TAKE A LOOK.
UNTIL THEY COLLECT EXAMINE AND CONTACT ME WITH THEIR VERDICT I AM UNABLE TO CONCLUDE MY REVIEW.
WHAT I CAN SAY IS THAT WHILE ON HOLIDAY I SAW A RIVERSWAY LEISURE "CHEAPY" ERECTED CLOSE TO ME THAT COST HALF MY VENTURA WHICH PUT MINE TO SHAME AS REPORTED TO ISABELLA/VENTURA.

BUT THE EVER OPTOMIST IN ME IS HOPING FOR A MORE HELPFULL OUTCOME AS ASIT IS, THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST AWNINGS I HAVE HAD FOR APPEARENCE OF FIT.

My previous Awning was an Isabella, what a disappointment my Venture Atlantic 1000cm is. It is impossible to to make the roof taught, due to excess material. The material on the roof and walls are showing signs of thinning in several places and stitching has started to break free. This is the poorest quality awning I have owned. Leave well alone and be beware Isabella products they have the plot.
i am so glad i read these two reviews as i was seriously considering to buy one! so two poorly made roofs, (made in uk ) says it all no wonder (name removed) shut them down!
LATEST NEWS ON THE VENTURE ATLANTIC IS THAT AFTER "ALTERATIONS"BY ISABELLA, THE ROOF IS AS SLACK AS EVER AND I REQUESTED A REFUND FROM ISABELLA VIA THE RETAILER AND IT WAS OFFERED VIA THE RETAILER BUT NO MESSAGES AT ALL FROM ISABELLA.
GOOD RESULT AFTER MONTHS OF WAITING BUT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM ISABELLA AND NOT ONE WORD OF AN APOLOGY IN FACT NO COMMENT. BUT MANY THANKS TO CHICHESTER CARAVANS FOR THEIR HELP. THANK YOU MARK. R WARD.
I totally agree with this review. I bought a Ventura 1000cm Pacific awning with a 3 month warranty from a caravan shop. The roof would not go taut and after heavy rain two areas of the roof filled with puddles, so heavy that two poles were broken. I contacted the local caravan shop and explained the problem over the telephone, it has developed to the stage where I have submitted paperwork to the local court and the caravan shop has written to be wanting to settle it somehow and not going to enter a counterclaim, but all the time is not willing to give a refund for faulty goods within the 3 month warranty. The caravan shop is sending a guy out in the next 5 days to see the awning! I wait to see what happens!
