Cagiva Mito, Best Thing Since Slice Bread!
Had my first mito when I was 17, now I'm 25 and brought my second simply because they are such an awesome bit of kit. For anyone looking to buy this bike DO IT!! Just bare in mind that if like my one it's a few years old mine being a 2004 plate, then you can bet your bottom dollar it's been ragged by a few teenagers with no real common sense and no money to fix it the proper way. My advice is yes buy this beautiful bike but, firstly look around find one that's been treated nicely and not had 11 previous owners.......trust me there out there, secondly make sure you have the funds to look after it, there highly strung two stroke engines and unless given the right lubricants and the best fuels/oils it won't last long. If looked after properly and restored nicely if broken, they are very fast and reliable bikes and if you come to sell can also fetch back a very good price, due to the fact they don't make them any more and are getting rarer by the day as too many young lads are blowing them up and there just being broken down or scrapped! And it's a massive shame.
So my thoughts are as follows, definitely worth a five star rating, super sexy bikes with plenty of power and superb handling. If fully de restricted like mine and looked after properly they are good for about 110mph, though wouldn't advise it too much as being a two stroke it doesn't like it too much. But I travel around 80 miles a day on mine to and from work with no hiccups or problems. Look after it and it will look after you.

Unreal, This 125 Can Put 250s To Shame. I Bought M
Unreal, this 125 can put 250s to shame. I bought mine 2 years ago, when I was 19(before that I owned a Honda NSR 125 which didn't even come close) I used it for a commute to university at first but I took it out onto a /b road one day and never felt the same again, The tyres are large for a 125, they have a massive contact patch and provide ample grip to get your knee down and keep a tight line. Acceleration out of the bends is second to none, the sound is wonderful, so meaty for a 2 stroke. I had a few run ins with the boy racers, in their saxos and corsas, the Mito left them looking very foolish, I'm a heavy rider and the corsas still couldn't keep up. Not that that's the be all and end all of bike ownership. The best ting about bikes is going on rideouts, a few friends of mine in their final year at uni had bought 400s and another had a 250 we went for a run on the A686, and I easily kept up with them, I'm so impressed with the mito, that instead of buying a bigger bike next year when I turn 21, I will just de-restrict the mighty mito.

Onto My Second Mito Now My 1st Was A Mk1 Mito Eddi
onto my second mito now my 1st was a mk1 mito eddie lawson rep ran brilliant used it rebularely never missed a beat until a young lady decided her corsa looked better into the side of it unfortunately it was a write-off. i then sold the bike to some one who was to put it back onto the road and i bought another mk1 which is now getting ready to be sprayed and put back onto he road... few bits of advice used the best 2stroke oil, i used castrol about 8quid for a ltr bottle and it was qite light on oil another piece of advice great for short burst of spped but long distance take it easy, mine over heated once or twice other than that cant go wrong. hope this helps you too decide...
