Fantastic Scooter
I got this scooter a few months ago, boy I it good. Mine is a 1999 model with low mileage,I had to change the headlight as the bracket had cracked. This one has disc front and drum rear, cruises at 60 - 65 but got 75mph going down hill on A3. Headlight with standard 35/35 W bulb is poor especially on fast A roads and B roads with no street lights, unfortunately not suitable for H4 bulb on this older model. I just done a 260 mile non stop trip, no complaints from the bike and only minimal stiffness to myself, and boredom lol. Highly recommended scooter, very economical, only topped up twice during the long journey and still half a tank of fuel. Cost me about £12 for the entire journey.

Back On Road After 30+ Years...
After much reading, decided on elyseo 125, great scoot, does the job well, use it on all roads, even m6, m5, good road presence from size. All clocks work, its a 1999, in racing green !!!!
verdict, well recommended

Fed Up With Trains
At the age of 64 next birthday and still having to work i got fed up to the back teeth with the unreliable train service not to mention the cost of the season ticket, so I took my test and got a 2nd hand (2006) Peugeot Elyseo from an even older rider. He decided to hang up his leathers at the age of 84.
I was in truth apprehensive riding daily into London as I usually drive a Land Rover Disco and here I am now on a little 125cc scooter! but hey it's great my own space and it feels bigger than it is. The lights plus my gear makes me clearly visable and I'm doing the journey in much the same time but at a lot less cost. It handles well, corners great, and I'm living my youth again which I can recommend. For a first bike I was sold on other peoples reviews as much as anything and I'm certainly not disappointed in the lease. I have even had hot grips fitted so I use it in the winter.

Luxury Scoot, Much Better Than An Et4!
Bought a very low mileage 2004 example. Have been used to scoots like the Vespa ET4 and Honda C90 ( Classic!)as well as much larger bikes. The Elyseo feels like bigger bike than a 125 in many ways - its also has very smooth and fluid handling and great brakes ( Discs front and back) Lots of room under the seat and a torquey engine. Knocks the socks of the ET4 which feels primative and very " italian" in comparison! If you are thinking about one - you wont be disapointed! Tops out about 60 mph ( may get better with a few more miles on it) - so not the quickest 125 - but how fast do you want to go on a City run about!?

If You Want A Good Solid Commuter Scooter That Can
If you want a good solid commuter Scooter that can cruise at around 60 mph, with a top speed of around 65 mph. Then this has to be on your short list. Has much in common with other Scoots with the same 125 leader engine fitted, but build quality in my opinion is high. Comfortable with good weather protection, and if you are a bit loopy (like me) fine for the Motorway (at around 65mph). I do 100 mile round trips about once a fortnight and other than boredom setting in, is fine. For a more enjoyable ride stick to A and B Roads. Like most Older Scooters mines a year 2000 can be picked up quite cheap if your lucky under £500 with low miles, make sure it has a full service history and check the exhaust for rust. Good Luck. Going to upgrade to a 250 or 500 soon.

After Hiring A Scooter On Holiday, I Decided To Bu
After hiring a scooter on holiday, I decided to buy one, for some fun, and as a cheap commuting alternative to the car in summer. I bought the Peugeot Elyseo 125P at two years old and with 6000kms. on the clock; I have covered 9000kms. in the last 2 and a half years, and still love riding it.
It handles well, will do 70 flat out, and returns nearly 100MPG. There is enough room for a full-face helmet under the saddle, and a hook under the handlebars for a small carrier bag.
Security is good, with an immobiliser and the patent boa-lock, which can go around a handy fence post or fixed object. Some riders may find the seat a bit high, which does raise the centre of gravity, but does make for greater road presence.
The dash comprises accurate speedo with trip, temp. & fuel gauges and a handy digital clock. The fly screen is very effective.
Only one thing has gone wrong with the scoot: a fuel pipe split- sorted in five minutes.
