Drd Extreme 2012 Model
Brought for my Son for his 16th, with only 800 miles on the clock. Was restricted when we got it and would barely pull the skin off a rice pudding!(28mph flat out)
Now fully derestricted with a full Arrow exhaust, larger inlet manifold, upjetted, and sprocket changed, together with the carb restriction removed.
Now sits all day at 60mph, no problems at all, on a good day it reached 67mph on a slight down hill,on private land of course :-) thats quick enough for a moped really!
Only down side is that the mpg has gone down a lot, but the fun factor has increased!

The Best 50cc Bike Ever!
Great bike, really strong and really good handling. You should only change the sprokets to 11/53 and then it will have so much more power!

Poor Service And Hopeless For Parts.
We purchased a brand new Senda 50 for our son to get to work on as there is no public transport. We bought a new one as we wanted something that would be reliable with no previous issues. But it wasn't.
In fairness it has done nearly 5000 miles in 9 months, a lot on a 50cc. During that time there have been numerous niggling faults all down to poor build quality. Speedo failure. Kick start falling off. Rear wheel bearings. Exhaust baffle falling apart. Problems with voltage regulator blowing all the bulbs. This lot is bad enough but what is worse is the appalling parts supply situation. They take weeks to turn up on most occasions. It is also worth considering the dealer if you buy one of these bikes. We felt, in the end, that the dealer we purchased from thought that all youngsters naturally damaged bikes and it wasn't his job to really do proper warranty service. So pick a good dealer.
It is a pity that these bikes just don't make the grade. They could be great but overall we got the impression from dealer and the manufacturer that once purchased you could simply clear off and shut up. "Got yer money now what you going to do" is their ethos.
We should, perhaps, have bought one of those cheap Chinese scooters as it would probably have been no worse and ultimately a lot cheaper.

Had This Bike 9 Months And In The 9 Months I Have
had this bike 9 months and in the 9 months i have had 2 battles with warranty jobs which the firts time involved the frame bending and that took 3 months to sort out. Recently i was riding home from work and as i went around acorner my back wheel barrings came out and brake calliper dropped onto my brake disk, i am still currently battling it 3 weeks later. Also with the bike speed is fine at 30 when on flat but as you hit the slightest increase the speed will fall straight to 15mph you van do anything with the gears but it does not help.

Q&A
How economical are they/how much does it take to fill up roughly? How many miles on a tank that sort of thing?
