This was my 6th holiday with Trailblazers in 3 years.

I love these holidays because they have everything I want in a biking holiday that supplies everything I need - kit, bikes, nice hotels, guides and lunches.

These holidays are so easy for me to come on - I've done 2 with friends now and 4 on my own. I love the pick-up option from the airport instead of car hire and have enjoyed meeting up with several groups of bikers, all who have been so very friendly - The love of bikes is a great thing everyone has in common.

3 full on days of trail riding on a KTM 450 on the latest trip, and previously a mix of both 450 4-stroke and a 300 2-stroke.

The latest trip was a 3 day Lakes raid.

Day one was great riding over the hills towards a stunning blue water lake with lots of great tracks through the woods surrounding it then upwards

over the hill on the horizon via great tracks with an overnight stop at the Bandalero hotel where our kit was dropped off and we all enjoyed the comfortable hotel with the very friendly owner who really makes you feel welcome.

Day two was great riding towards a second stunning blue water lake with lots of great tracks through the fields and hills surrounding it then upwards over another hill on the horizon via great tracks with an overnight stop at the Hotel Rural Sierra Tejeda where our kit was dropped off and we all enjoyed the comfortable hotel with fabulous balcony views.

Day three was a long blast back to the base at Cinillas De Albeida and the final nights stay at the nice quality hotel and its villa.

I am always buzzing for a few days after coming back from these holidays, as they have everything in one holiday that I love as a biker.

The owner and guide always makes the riding fun as we take a few stops along the way for a breather, photos and some interesting riding tales or some local history of the area.

Lunches are always great (and included in the price) to get your energy back up in the local villages we go through along the way.

These holidays give you the true flavour of Spain at its best and in places you would never otherwise visit.

I have just returned from 5 days in Competa on a Trialblazers Pro package. 4 of us arrived on the Wednesday in Malaga. Picked up a hire car and drove the hour or so following nice and easy directions straight to our hotel, The Alberdini. First job done, no problems. The hotel was great, nice pool, nice and friendly staff - some English which made life so easy.

We met up with another friend who has been many times over the last 7 years. We rode as a group of 5 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday we picked up our bikes, I rode a 300 KTM whilst the other were on 4 strokes. We rode for about 6 hours with the main man as our guide. The views were stunning, the dried up river bed was a flat out blast and the lake was beautiful. We then arrived at another hotel, our bags had already arrived, to take a dip in the Spa baths before another superb meal. Friday was a big day. Off to another Lake, with a blast round through the trees, a bit English going. Then we headed back towards Competa. The lunch was stop was pretty spectacular! We covered about 150 miles that day.

Back to the Alberdini for a beer, shower, great food and more beer. Oh and a pub quiz in English.

Saturday was another glorious day despite 3 punctures! Another awsome ride to another great lunch. And then the long way back to Competa and the Alberdini for more great food and beer and this time a 3 piece English band.

Would I go back....definately. He puts so much effort in making sure everything is right from the moment you get there, to the riding (matched to your ability), the lunches whilst out on route and the hotels.

I have been to trailblazers for the past 10 years every year. Both organise what ever trip you need. Weather it's on your own or with your mates. That have even sorted out horse back riding for my wife! I don't think I have done the same trails twice. The bikes are always well maintained and realaible. He is a great guide and has a thousand and one funny tales to tell. The luch stops are always in beautiful places and the food is always excellent. The accommodation is a fantastic hotel on top of the hills with fabulous views.

It's so good my wife and I are going again in 2 weeks for my wife 50yh birthday!
