Brilliant Learners Bike :)
I've had my Xr200r for just under a year now. I use it as a farm/Trail bike and it has never missed a beat. Im a 6"2', 70kg 14 year old and It carries my sorry carcass with very little effort. Now dont get me wrong, but for what it is, its a bucket load of fun. The trottle response can be a little sluggish, especially when climbing large hills, but overall its hardly noticable. Size wise the bike it a little small for my large frame, but for anyone 6" and under, the bike would be fine. The power is very handleable and is the perfect learners or lady's bike. If their was one thing to note about this bike is the suspention. The front forks are quite soft even after adding presure to the forks. I have bottomed out a fair few times and this can make your legs jiggle at times, especially if kepping a decient pace. The swing arm seems good enough, but I have de3come familiar with seat bounce. Overall the bike is great and the model is a cracker. I would recomend to anyone, especially to learners or smaller riders. :)

Great Bike
I recently got my 1999 Honda XR200R. I went out on it today for hours and I just have to say WOW!!! Not the most power I have ever seen but for what it is it does pretty damn good. Awesome trail bike or even good for just riding back roads. I would recommend it to anyone. light weight and comfortable.
its heavy for off road so as for race. the power is not enough for its weight.
Just Got A Second Hand One For Chistmas.
I got a 1999 model it is great, plenty of power love being in third idling and pulling the throttle all the way back and just a tip don't accelerate around a sharp corner cause unless you know what your doing you'll spin out and fly off, suspension is good, brakes i normally use the front brakes (not sure why) and its really fuel efficient, takes a few hours to empty the tank. i recommend this for slightly experienced rider, although, its really easy to get a basic feel for the bike.

1997 Xr200r Bought It 2 Years Ago And Love It.
I live is Idaho so a dirt bike is the perfect thing for up here i ride it to work and just ride is for fun it's the perfect size for me to the funny thing is the i was born in 97 to and my first bike and car was a 97 i love my car to it's a Mustang Gt I customized is to be awd it's pretty sweet. Honda is the best bike ever I love mine i would refer is over and other bike besides a street bike my brother has a suzuki hayabusa that thing is freaking awesome up to 200 mph check out pics at this link if you want to.
I got my bike for $700.00
Etc
I really like this bike, I often find the front suspension could be a bit stiffer but if it were stiffer I'd probably want it softer. This bike is a trial bike not road bike it won't perform going down the highway but it will in the bush. I loved the 6th gear when you're riding down fire roads you can just idle the motor or you can shift down and pull a wheelie on a bump or something like that. This bike is dead reliable and really fuel efficent, I went on a 50 kilometre (or 35ish mile) ride the other day and I still had a little over 3/4 of a tank. It is a nice size tank too 2.88 Gallons you'll never run out of gas on this bike. It also has plenty of power, with the right tires you can climb any hill, the only scenario where you'll need more jam is in the sand hills.
Overall it is a amazing trial bike and it is not a road bike.

Awesome Bike. My Second Bike And It Was Worth The
Awesome bike. My second bike and it was worth the money. It wasn't too much heavier than my first bike which was a TTR125. The XR200 also has good power and is a nice, affordable trail bike. It is much lighter than the XR250 but it doesn't lose much power even though it is pure stock. I also has a perfect seat hight. I have had no problems with it and look forward to taking it out this summer. One downfall is that it has a front drum brake. Also, the suspension is too soft if you wanted to hit jumps but it is setup for the trails anyways. I would recommend it to someone who is a begginer or someone who is going to mainly ride on the trails.

I Got My 1986 Xr 200r A Year Ago For Free, It Had
I got my 1986 xr 200r a year ago for free, it had a blown engine and the works, The engine has been rebuilt, rebuilt the suspension and since then it has been the funnest + most reliable bike I've ever ridden. Will make it up all hills, plenty of grunt, and is light. I would recommend this bike to people who liked a easy maintained bike that will cope with all sorts of terrain. The bike is well worth it.
