Asthmatic Hair Dryer
I had my DR350 new and was, to be honest, influenced by the bike press who raved about this bike. Much of what they said was true, like the excellent chassis and suspension which gave near perfect handling on or off road. The fuel consumption was brilliant ranging from 60-90pmg and it was very reliable. However, after owning the bike for about two years I saw the weaknesses in the bike. The engine is gutless, plain and simple. Okay off road in slippy conditions where a gentler power delivery is required but on the road the bike is an asthmatic hair dryer. The seat is also very uncomfortable to the point of not being fit for purpose. Longer runs saw me sitting to the rear of the seat with outstretched arms where the seat is wider. The finish on the bike is also poor even with regular cleaning, falling victim to the British weather in only 18 months with rust, peeling paint from the frame and rotting clutch cables. Suzuki also wanted £37 for a clutch cable...
For gentle off roading and if you stand up alot it's a good bike, but that engine lets it down.

This Is A Great Little Bike, It Will Do Wut Ever Y
This is a GREAT little bike, it will do wut ever you want it to, the suspinson suxs but thats my only complaint...people say its not really a bike for long trips or good on highways....i rode mine 1700 acroos half the country, no problems except running at high rpms for long periods cause it to burn up oil...aka some damage to the top end, but it was my fault for not checking oil everytime i fueled up...overall this bike is awsome, u can go anywhere the handlebars will fit!...if u get one b sure to lock it up, people like stealing dirtbikes, mine was stolen, but i got it back thank god

1999 Dr350 Se Well Worth The 3k I Paid For It
1999 DR350 SE
Well worth the 3k I paid for it a couple of years ago.
Pretty much bulletproof, no complaints.
Although a bit on the heavy side, everyone that has tried it is impressed.
I really don't need anything bigger or faster, I tend to stick to the trails.
Certainly not a "highway cruiser" for sure, but at the speed limit it is not uncomfortable.
Having a six speed gearbox is great when I tackle a bigger road - without problems.
I would definitely buy another one.

Bought The Suzuki Dr350sex A Few Days Ago, Price W
Bought the Suzuki DR350sex a few days ago, price was right in great shape. Like I said Suzuki got it right with this bike it has all the things you'd want on a dual sport. Plenty of aftermarket goodies for it too.

The Suzuki Dr 350 Is Incredible. I Got Mine Used A
The Suzuki DR 350 is incredible. I got mine used at a garage sale. It's a 1996, with incredibly low miles. I would say im an agressive driver off-road and a generally safe driver on road, generally. Dual sport means Turn signals brake lights the whole nine, so its great for short-medium trips. I usually drive it to some trails about a mile from my house. All ive ever done is replace a worn out clucth cable and this thing rips off-road. I love it. Im 6 foot and weigh about 170 (i think thats pretty light) and i can do anything with it. Wheelies, jumps, giant burnouts, and STOPPIES, yeah thats right, I can make this thing do a stoppie. I definately reccomend this bike to any one. Its cheap, great mileage, and super fun.

Bought This Bike (suzuki Dr 350) In 2006 And Am Qu
Bought this bike (Suzuki DR 350) in 2006 and am quite pleased, other than fuel leaking out of carb (from bad o-rings), I haven't had any problems with this thing, its air cooled which simplifies things, has great acceleration in stock format, can go just about as fast as you dare, you can buy parts from just about anywhere, has a great support group (maximum Suzuki) which can just about solve any problem online, Suzuki did real well with this model.

My Suzuki Dr 350 Looked Nice But It Broke Down On
My Suzuki DR 350 looked nice but it broke down on me everytime I rode it. It had a bad suspension that blew out on me and the thing had no power at all. The engine blew up twice in one month. It was the worse bike I've have ever owned. I wouldn't recommend this bike to anyone.

I Currently Own A 1996 Dr And I'm Very Happy With
I currently own a 1996 DR and I'm very happy with it's over-all performance. I myself am a very agressive rider and the DR has withstood all my beating. It has probably spent more time off the ground than on it. The bike to this day is still running strong and I expect it to continue doing so. If you are looking for a fun and reliable bike then the DR 350 is your bike.

I Bought The Suzuki Dr 350 Bike To Follow My 4 Yea
I bought the Suzuki DR 350 bike to follow my 4 year old and play with friends. I came to the DR from an RM, and I LOVE the change. This bike is so much more fun to play on, and it is worth the loss in spot power provided by the RM. I haven't had any issues keeping up with friends on YZ, CR and CRF bikes. Overall, this is the best off road bike I've owned - and it's street legal. The engine appears bulletproof, and I have not had the bike fail once thus far.
Q&A
Can a 91 DR350s be retrofitted with a starter?
