Mine Is A 2000 Model Running A Twin-air Filter No
Mine is a 2000 model running a twin-air filter no lid on the air box and extra holes in the side, full fmf exhaust, 190 main jet and yz cam timing. It also has gold 17" wrp rims a braking wave disc and a zxr400 4 piston front caliper. I have over geared it from 14-50 to 15-42 but engine doesn ' t seem to have noticed has it still pulls monster wheelies in 3rd and will do a ton flat out, on the twisties it ' ll eat sports bikes and scare the bits out, TOP BIKE this is the most fun I've had in 22 years of motorcycling and unlike most it ' s not a weekend toy coz I use it to get to work everyday!

For All Of You Out There That Have Ridden A Few Bi
For all of you out there that have ridden a few bikes before you will love it but those who havent you may be shocked the first time you wind open the throttle and the back wheel releases that awesome power and the whole bike goes into a big power stand but you will get used to it and it is a very easy bike to ride. The set up just works the suspension put together with the power is just awesome. I have also heard that they fo just as hard as the new 450.
I am looking at buying a 1999 wr400 because i want something that goes like awesoem! This bike sounds like it does and i am set on buying one !!!
How often do they need a rebuild ???

Has Ample Pep And Has No Trouble Keeping Up With T
Has ample pep and has no trouble keeping up with the "big boys" on group rides. Runs 70mph at 6400 rpm and has 1500 rpm left until the needle hits red. At 80 mph still has zip to pass traffic. My riding group normally cruises back roads at 55 to 60mph. My Majesty seems to corner, accelerate, and weave around road kill as well any of the straddel-bikes in the group.
In asking myself if I want to switch to a straddled touring bike I wonder: Would a shifting clutch last any longer than a centrifical clutch? Are 14-inch tires any less safe than 16 or 17in.? Is the Majesty's drive train as reliable as a conventional motorcycle?

Nice bike, very fast, well built and powerful. I looked into all super motards and for the 400cc the Yamaha WR400 is probably as good as any out there.
