Honda SH50 City Express

I own a 1999 Honda sh 50 moped I love this bike it's very reliable and never let's me down, top speed is 32 mph that's on the flat and up hills, I found out by a friend that this moped has the washer taken off the variator this must have been off when I bought the bike. Does any one know how I can get this moped to do 40 mph ? As when I'm on main busy roads I'm counting the whitelines on the road.

I have owned my Honda SH50 for 3 years. It was a ex-Royal Mail bike when I got it having 8000 miles on the clock with full service history, after that for a further 2 years I used it as a pizza delivery bike. It has been insured for myself and 3 friends all to use for pizza delivery bike, it has been used for around 12 hours day, seven days a week for the full 2 years. It now has a amazing 60,000 miles on the clock , the first engine lasted to 33,000 miles, which I then replaced with one off eBay for £80, which is currently still going fine, other than the engine, only things I have replaced was tyres, brake pads and bulbs plus regular servicing, although I own a ZX7r too, I still love to ride my Honda SH50. It also has minor derestrcting, Kevlar belt, will go 45mph and get to that very fast! Highly recommended.
