Peugeot Speedfight 2 50cc

This bike is great. Not only does it look sexy but it drives brilliant too. This bike is 17 years old and the same age as me as of 2018, it runs and looks as if it's brand-new. I can do up to 37mph on this 50cc. I have a liquid cooled model so the cooling is great. I bought this for £800 and so far it has been worth every penny. It also sounds great for a 50cc as well as it doesn't sound at all tinny but instead loud and aggressive. I love it and highly recommend anyone to get!

This scooter is just fantastic! It's max speed is about 85-90 kilometers per hour, it's economic and it's got space for a full face helmet under the seat.. the only thing i would like is if it had a bit more acceleration but what can you do, it still is a moped:) I'm completely satisfied and i've had for about 3-4 months, no problems yet!

i think the speedfight was spectacular it has got my son through school and i would recomend it to anyone who wants a moped for their sons or for themselfs

i have just bought a peugeot speedfight 2 wrc, would anyone know what the difference is between the wrc and the normal speedfight?

i have a x reg speedfight and it has just started boggin a lot at low end when you get up to about 20mph runs sweat till top speed but you cannot set off i have cleaned the carb check'd the piston n bore there is nothin i see wrong with them cleaned air filter bike runs fine and idle's but if you try to rev bogs and if you keep hold of it will die would be very helpful if any one could give me some suggestions thanks Dave plz email me [email protected] thanks

i just put ne piston and gaskit set on my speedfight2 toke it out for a test run now the bike wont move and sumtime wont start

Having just bought a peugeot speedfighter 2 as a run about,have a jeep for towing horse trailer,needed a cheeper way of getting about on week days, it is fantastic ,cheep to buy,cheep to run, very quick an great fun to ride. Feel like a teenager again !but does any one know is there a way to fix a back box on it as not quite enough storage space under seat . also parts are reasonable to buy. mine has mot till oct 2012, had it looked at anyway,just to see what may need doing for new mot,good idea so you can buy parts in advance so when serviced you already have spare parts,helps to spread the cost.overall excellent value for money

I am reviewing a iron-x speedfight 2 2008 (please note the iron-x has no engine modifications just aesthetics)

My ped was the fastest twist and go in town due to the following:

70 cc polini big bore kit ( more detail later)

Doppler variator

Kevlar belt

Stage 6 pro rep exhaust

Larger carb jet

Smaller airfilter (took the extension pipe off the standard airfilter)

Now, there is a big hard on about 70 cc kits and blowing them up,well my friends this is bull sh*t.I ran all this (the 70 cc kit) for around 6 month.

In this time i did not have ONE problem not a SINGLE problem the reason being is i did not abuse it.I know people who have gone through a dozen because they rev the bollo*ks off it.Truth is if you treat it with respect i.e dont always rev its head off and if you have for a while ride for a while gently i.e cruising to allow the cylinder to cool and not heat seize.My friend also ran a 70 cc 21 mm carb reed block exhaust for around 5 month and he did not treat it as well as i had, reved it up to 10,000 easily most days and has had NOT ONE SINGLE PROBLEM.Treat it with respect and you will be fine.Remember to change your spark plug to the right one and respect it and you WILL be fine.Also for breaking it in , make sure YOU DO this properly it isnt hard and is WELL WORTH it with the 70 cc polini bore kit run it for 500 miles easily and near the last 100 miles give it blips of throttle etc.

Anyone know where i can get an ignition and lock set for an immobilised peugeot speedfight 2 air 2001 reg ?

i am buying a peugeot speed fight 2 an im only 16 can some 1 give me a good insurance site for third party fire and theft because i need 1 cheep thanks for any help please
