Hi everyone my nrg is really good to ride and also quite fast with a bit of money spent example race exaust polini variator up jete d carb to a 62 with updated carbon reed plates iridium spark plug and a derestricted Cdi running a molossi air filter and different rollers it does around 70 mph great fun recommend to any1

my son has a piaggio nrg,he uses lots of petrol,roughy 47 miles per thank,also cuts out when left standing when its cold,can anyone help is this normal!!

Hi i got a piaggio nrg Dt power its an 06 model and i love it its a nice looking bike and fast ..It has bean De-restrictet had rollers fitted and i think a bigger carb and also a sporty exaust but it looks like standard but sounds great and is fast it goes 51 mph straight and 60 mph down hill

got mine for free off a mate as they crashed it got a bit smashed but i fixed it up very easily and its the best thing ive ever owned. get one!

i own a 2009 model of the piagio nrg sports series, i have fitted a new chrome sports exhaust which is a partial (legal) de-restriction, all i need to do now is take the washer put the variator but i cant find it, if anyone has the same model as me and knows where to find the washer could you please send me a few pics to my hotmail to find it plz... its [email protected]..

I got my 05 Piaggio NRG DD air cooled sportseries for crimbo 08. And it is a abrilliant piece of kit. Handles great. Very easy toswing round bends and fun over all to drive.

I would recommend getting it derestricted though.

Just removing the washer from the variator makes that much difference.

To be honest the Piaggio NRG is probably the best scooter (50cc) ever made. One of my mates has a speedfight derestricted and does that of the line and top speed. It also does the majority of aeroxs as well apart from the ones that have had big carbs put on and air filters. If your thinking about buying a 50 buy an NRG.

Awesome machine. Its awsome great reliability never any problems goes fast (wen derestriced and powerpipe) generly a great comfortable bike.

Exelent value for money! Reliable, fast when de-restricted! Never had any major problems!
