Shocking Customer Service
I Ordered a pair of glasses, and of course they take your money straight away, any business worth their salt would take your money after they made the product. They then say everything is good to go, then they say the glasses are out of stock and to choose another pair, which incidentally are triple the price of the ones I picked. Or I could cancel. So sensing something to make you spend more money, I cancelled.
Four emails later I'm still trying to get my money back. Terrible Customer Service. I would strongly warn you to avoid these people like the plague. I'm still fighting to get my money back, which they keep promising but which never materialises. My next port of call is Citizen Advice, Trading Standards, and my bank. I've had it with them. AVOID!!!!!

An opticians with a difference. They have no idea what varyfocals are.Paid for a set of varyfocals and was sent Bifocals.Took almost 3 months to get a partial refund.No telephone number,Automated response. This company are as low as it gets, their business is based on ripping people off.AVOID AT ALL COST !!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Avoid this company at all costs. I used the re glazing service and my spectacles were returned to me with the wrong prescription, and once I did manage to get a response via email (there is no telephone customer service for this company...a good enough reason not to use them) where I was un-apologetically told to post them back and they will be re glazed..this was to my cost again. The second attempt also failed, despite verifying that they were using the right prescription...I was unable to see through the lenses without feeling dizzy and nauseous. I asked my local optician to kindly measure the prescription and was told it was so far away from what it should be it was a disgrace. The email games then began...I spent a lot of my time emailing a person who was evasive, difficult, robotic, and would not answer my straight forward refund request...it felt like this company likes to play games with their customers to wind them up via email, knowing that they can be faceless and unaccountable for their behaviour. I then escalated a PayPal dispute to ensure that I got a refund although I have lost a decent amount of monies on postage. This company should not be allowed to trade and it is the reason why internet companies get a bad reputation...stay local and use your local optician is my advice.

Absolutely disgusting service.
Reglazed a pair of sunglasses with this joke company, paid for fast track and the order took over 3 weeks to arrive when it should have taken 1. Not only that, they sent me the wrong pair back, didn't care when I emailed them to say so. (Still waiting for a proper response over a week later). Tried (and failed) on numerous occasions to get updates and answers via their only email address and replies took several days, and when they did respond it was uninterested one line answers. Extremely poor customer service. Would never use again.

Avoid DIRECTSIGHT at all cost, i sent my prescription off for varifocal glasses which i have happily worn for 15 years, the first pair where out of focus as they applied a standard PD measurement as per there order form.
The corrected pair which i had to return recorded delivery at my own cost arrive equally as bad but with additional blurred outer vision in both lenses, the response i got were varifocalS only offer a narrow central vision for viewing!!!! and i need to upgrade to premier to have full vision...THIS IS NONSENSE...UTTER RUBBISH.
You can only contact this company via email, i have requested a refund as if you buy glasses the main thing is you can see with them.
Direct sight will only offer me a refund on the frames not the lenses as report these are bespoke to me?? bespoke means made for me so why can't i see..the lenses are the responsibility of the optical company who make them not me so why decline a refund.
Latest response was i can self return them and pay for an upgrade...what a joke..AVOID AVOID AVOID

I was charged £108 for 2. Pairs of varificol glasses both pairs were unsuitable in both lenses and shoddy framed I retuned them and got a refund of £28.40 based on there small print returns guarantee I have taken this up with PayPal

Averse To Receipts
Ordered replacement lenses for existing frame. A prescription was requested and sent They responded by demanding a further £30 for 'out of range' specification
Such was sent 1nd I waited circa 6 weeks for delivery of reglazed spectacles.
I belong to a health insurance scheme which contributes to cost of such transactions.
They were not prepared to progress with the PDF e mailed receipt for the original £125 and handwritten additional £30 for the Out of range spec'
Advised Direct that I wished to receive a final receipt covering and itemising the full £155 cost
What a performance gaining such from them - still ongoing and to date to success.
Maybe they have a problem in issuing receipts - cant think why!
To be faim the reglazed specs are fine however, due to their £30 surcharge I saved nothing against local opticians supply and would have had the benefit of local contact in cases of further enquiry, Dealing with Direct Sight Customner Service - as outlined in other reviews is turning into a nightmare.
Suggest you shop alsewhere for spectacles / service

After reading various reviews before ordering I was a bit sceptical, however I have now purchased two pairs of glasses and I am delighted with them. The first pair came with the wrong frames but this was quickly rectified. I received my second pair today and I love them. Was a very quick service with friendly communication. I would thoroughly recommend ! !

Took My Money But Haven't Supplied Glasses
I'm having major problems with this company, I have purchased glasses previously and all has been good. However this time I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses and a pair of standard glasses. The sunglasses arrived but are wonky, I have managed to sort this myself but not impressed. Over a month after the order had been placed still no sign of the standard glasses, and still not in production according to their website, so I asked them to cancel and refund, they did cancel the order and promise a refund, but didn't apologise or give any explanation for the delay. A week and a half later, still no refund, I've now raised a claim with paypal and am awaiting the outcome of this, I won't be ordering from them again, so they have managed to lose a loyal customer with their lack of customer service. After posting the above on Facebook, they responded telling me they had cancelled the order after they had sent me an email telling me the glasses were out of stock and that I had responded to the email saying I wanted to cancel, this is a lie, and I would be happy to sent my emails to Direct sight to prove this, they also told me that their customer service department had been trying to contact me, another lie, I haven't heard anything from them, and I have checked and made sure that they have my correct contact details. I am still waiting for a refund. I would like direct sight to explain to me why they believe they should be able to keep my money.
