I recently visited Topps Tiles in Ormskirk and was helped above and beyond by a delightful young man, who happily went the extra mile to ensure that I enjoyed the best possible deal despite it meaning a bit of extra effort from the staff.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this store to others.

Avoid At All Cost!
The staff in-store Inverness, were lovely but delivery was a disaster. And once they have your money they are not interested in resolving any issues.have questions about product but due to their appalling customer service cannot trust that I will get the correct information in order to resolve issues. £2000 Ty hat I should have spent elsewhere. Meaningless platitudes don't cut it.

Late Delivery Of The Wrong Tiles
Order over £650 worth of tiles. Delivery scheduled for 23 June. Delivery windows 0800-2000. Come 2000hrs no tiles, no communication from Topps to explain why the delivery did not take place.
When the delivery did occur it contained several boxes of the wrong tile.
Topps were not apologetic for delivering the wrong tiles late.
I have asked for partial refund and for the correct tiles to be delivered. I will update this review (if that possible) when/if receive replacement tiles and a refund.
I can not recommend this company.

Unacceptable service
Unacceptable service ! After visiting the Tunstall shop we enquired on some expensive bathroom tiles .We told the sales person that we had a budget of £500 ,we proceeded to give the member of staff detailed drawing of the bathroom with all the sizes .He told us what we needed, and with purchased the tiles at the budget price .After employing a professional tiler to fit the tiles , 3 days in of the fitting of them ,he asked me where the rest of the tiles are ,he advised me that we needed the same again to which I was in total shock .I had no choice as I had a half tiled bathroom to purchase another £500 worth of tiles which I could not really afford .I brought this up with the manager of the shop and she told me she was sorry and the member of staff was a trainee .This is totally not acceptable and I suggested that it was a sales ploy that they under estimate the tiles to increase sales which this did by 100%.The complaint was sent to the head office ,the reply I got back was a offer of 15% off your next purchase. What a poor offer to resolve my disappointment with the service provided .Very very poor service and a back handed way to sell more tiles .

Rubbish Service From The Stone Ages
Whatever you do, please do not make online payments to this company! The whole point of making an online payment is to ensure qiuck and efficient results but with Topps Tiles it is just the opposite because apparently they process the payment through a "third party". There client care line are unable to help and just repeat" computer says no" type if responses. Absolutely terrible service!

Toppstiles Commends Charlatan Who Can’t Tile And Has No Insu
I moved my family to Bearsden near Glasgow from Lytham St Annes in Lancashire. I didn’t know any tradesmen in the area but knew Toppstiles from my previous home so went to our nearest store on Great Western Road and asked the manager “who was good?” The store manager gave me the business cards of several commended tilers. Armed with these commendations I made a few phone calls, I short listed three tilers and narrowed that down to one based on availability. He wasn’t the cheapest or the most expensive but he was competitive and could do the dates. So once we took possession of our new house and before anything was put into the house, the tiler was set to work on a new-build blank canvas and tasked with tiling 62 square meters of concreted ground floor and 12 square meters of bathroom and shower rooms. £1600 of ToppsTiles tiles later, there isn’t a single tile that’s been level with the one next to it, many have trip hazard height differences and the spacing between them varies from the requested 4mm down to 0 and up to 6mm. In short, the tiler commended by ToppsTiles was a charlatan who obviously doesn’t know how to tile. It turned out that he has no public liability insurance and despite some initial text contact hasn’t been back to either repair or recompense for his mess and has since dropped off the grid. So far, ToppsTiles have not confirmed any compensation and insist that their commendation of the tiler means they are not accountable since they didn’t recommend him they merely commended him. This is interesting because according to most definitions a commendation is another word for recommendation but somehow ToppsTiles don’t see it that way. However, my solicitor does see it that way and will be explaining the implications to Toppstiles shortly. If ToppsTiles continue to “commend” trades people they need to take more responsibility and care. They should, as a minimum, do a basic assessment to check for public indemnity insurance and should request end-customer feedback of the trade person’s performance. Toppstiles’ lackluster approach in commending a tiler to me has left me and my family with a sub-standard and hazardous floor that needs to be ripped-up and redone before someone gets hurt.

Blackpool Store - Great Customer Service
nipped in at 3.45 on a Sunday as they shut at 4pm. The two guys made us feel really welcome and the customer service was exceptional. We purchased our wood laminate flooring and got loads of advice on underlay and scotia' and came out of the store beaming because they were so lovely! Would 100000% buy from tops tiles again as we felt really looked after x

Helpful Friendly Staff
I always use Topps Winchester if I need tiles. They are very friendly and very helpful. On my recent visit to buy tiles for my bathroom the assistant went out of his way to help me select the right tiles that would match perfectly. They insisted on loading the tiles into the car which was great as they were very heavy. In all very happy with the Winchester store.

Very Slow Refund
I ordered and paid for goods online and was contacted several days later by topps torquay to be told they were no longer stocked.
I was offered a refund and nearly to weeks later I am still waiting. very poor service
